It's been a little while now since Sammy has seen her brother - Archie - for the last time. In fact it's been not a little while but almost 3 years.
He's been on world tour with his band Santa Cruz for almost 3 years.

"I can't believe that it's you leaving now. Last time we've been at the airport it was because of me." Archie leaned down and hugged his sister one last time. "If I was you I'd say something like 'I'll be back faster than you can say motherfucker' now. But I'm not you so I say don't drink too much, don't get in any trouble and please don't burn down the house." Sammy grabbed her bagpack and suitcase and waited for Archie to give her the okay she wanted. "I'm fine, Smallie. You stay out of trouble! I want you back in one piece.", he laughed and ruffled her hair playfully. "Okay okay. Well it's time for me to go then. I'll call you as soon as we arrive at the hotel. And if you're trying to call me don't forget I'm in another timezone." Archie nodded and pushed her backwards lightly. "Go now your friends are waiting." With one last smile Sammy turned around and followed her friends to the gate. "Los Angeles we're coming!!", Sarah shrieked and entered the plane first. The 3 friends did the same and 12 hours later they landed in the city Sammy never thought she'd ever go to. As soon as they arrived at the hotel she called Archie as promised. They all decided to go rest for a while since it was 3am in LA.
A knock on Sammy's hotel room door woke her up. The clock read 10am. "Sams are you awake?" It was Jordan who had knocked and called for her. Sammy made her way to the door and smiled at Jordan weakly. "Hi." "Hi Sams. Are you ready to explore the world outside of this window?", he pointed at the window next to her bed which was currently covered by the curtain. Even though Sammy was still tired she couldn't wait to finally see Los Angeles. It felt unreal to be here now. "Give me 30 minutes to get ready." "Sure we're right next door just knock when you're ready." Sammy shut the door again and opened the curtains on the other side of the room. For a while she just stood there and admired the beautiful view. But what is a view when you can walk those streets? She took a quick shower and changed. A look on her phone told her that it was not even 10.20 so she took the time to check her messages. One from Archie and one from Johnny both wishing a great time in LA. A Thank You should be enough as a response. They could probably imagine that there was no time for novels. Johnny also sent her a snap which was a pic of him and Middy at the beach.

He was probably trying to make her jealous because he is at the beach and she isn't but she is in Los Angeles which is without a doubt the better option. She replied with a pic of the view out of her window and put the phone away. Let's get the day started.
"When are we leaving tomorrow?" Sammy leaned against the room door exhausted. They've been walking through LA the whole day and have seen so many attractions. "I don't know, I'm so done for today. I just want to sleep.", groaned Anne and walked into her own room, leaving Sammy, Sarah and Jordan alone. "Let's just say 10am?", Jordan asked. "Yeah sounds good to me." Sarah agreed with Sammy and the three of them went into their own rooms too. Sammy took a short hot shower and changed into some comfortable clothes then. She was exhausted but not really in the mood to sleep yet. Maybe there's something interesting on the TV. Zipping through the programs she got proved wrong though. Just as she wanted to turn the TV off again her phone started ringing. Without looking at it she answered and started talking. "Heyy Archieeee oh my gosh LA is so fuckin' amazing! We've already seen sooo many things and buildings and the weather was so nice..." "I'm glad LA's interesting but I'm not Archie, honey.", Johnny laughed on the other side. "Oh my god I'm sorry I didn't look who's calling I just assumed it was Archie." "No haha, no need to apologize. Seems like you had an eventful day." "Yeah it's been a long day. But anyways why are you calling? I mean it's fine but is there a reason or something?" "Uh no not really to be honest. I'm just bored so I thought I would call you and ask how you're doing." "Okaaay. Well I'm doing good. We just got back to the hotel. To be honest I'm bored too so it's quite cool that you're calling." "You're bored? You are in Los Angeles how are you bored?" "I'm not tired but there's nothing on the TV so.." "Girl you should go out. Have a party or something." "Says the one who gets jealous when I'm out with other people.." "Ehh come on we're beyond that topic." "Okay sorry. Let's talk about something else. How late is it in Finland? 9:30?" "Yeah. Just woke up. We had a little party yesterday but everybody's somehow busy today so I'm all alone." "Is there a week you're not having a party? But anyways, Archie is busy? What's he up to?" "I have no idea. They probably want to annoy me or something. I was literally like 'yo boys how bout we do something tomorrow' and everybody said no because of other plans. Why am I still single? They are getting on my nerves with their girlies. Just joking haha." "Aww poor Johnny is single. Well girls take the hot ones first...", Sammy joked and walked over to the mini bar to get a water. "What? I am hot!", he laughed. "Of course...", she replied in an ironical voice. "No seriously. Look at my six pack. Everything about me is hot." "Ehh I don't necessarily need to see your not existing six pack." "Oh come on you know I have one!" "Yeah whatever." "Don't whatever me! Hang on.."
