Dara's POV

"Aish... here we are," Yuri muttered in a bored tone as she parked the car.

"Neh... let's go," I said, unbuckling my seatbelt, but just as I was about to step out, Yuri grabbed my arm to stop me.

"Wae?" I asked, looking at her.

"Are you sure about this? I mean... It's okay if you don't want to do this. It's all about... both of you," she said cautiously.

I smiled at her reassuringly.

"Neh... Yuri-ah, it's okay for me. I just want a proper closure. We never closed the chapter of our relationship the right way. We never talked. I just want to free myself from the past," I explained.

"O-oaky... but please promise me one thing," she said hesitantly.

"Promise what?" I asked.

"D-Don't make yourself too comfortable with him. Don't fall for him again, Dara... It's not that I don't trust you," she said softly.

I squeezed her hands gently and smiled. "Yuri, it's okay. What we had was just in the past. I admit it was a big part of my life—maybe even a special part—but it is just part of my past that I need to close. And... I have something I forgot to tell you."

"Huh?" she asked, confused. I giggled.

"I'll tell you later. For now... let's go," I said, stepping out of the car. Yuri followed me immediately, and we entered the restaurant.

The restaurant was classy, clearly expensive. Of course, I shouldn't expect anything less from Kwon Jiyong. My eyes scanned the place until I spotted a familiar face. I smiled at him.

"Yuri... there he is. Let's go," I whispered.

We walked toward Jiyong. He looked slightly slimmer, more mature, but his charm... his presence... it was still the same. I smiled and waved at him. He looked back at me, his expression softening as if I were something precious—just like the old days, the days when we were in love.

"H-Hello," he said nervously.

I giggled.

"Why so shy?" I teased.

"Are you nervous? Relax, Ji," I added, laughing.

"Yah! I'm not... why should I be?" he stammered.

"Yeah... why would you be nervous? You're a jerk and a monster, so you shouldn't be," Yuri chimed in, nudging me slightly.

"Fine. Let's sit now and eat to finish this reunion of ours," she said, sitting beside me while Ji helped me into the seat.

"Yah! You Kwon monsta!! Dara is not disabled..." Yuri shouted.

"I'm just being a gentleman here, my dear cousin," Ji said, smirking at her.

"You two look cute when you're fighting," I said softly.

"Yuck... this..." Yuri said, pointing at Ji with mock disgust. "This monsta? Huh... no thanks. I'd rather be called a cursing machine than call this cute."

"Don't worry, my dear cousin, the feeling is mutual," Ji said smoothly.

"Why, you monster!!" Yuri shouted, standing up. I sighed and interrupted them.

"You both just relax, okay? We should order now," I said.

"But Dara, this... ARHHHGGGG!! Fine!" she said, sitting down again. I smiled. She had promised she wouldn't ruin this moment.

Once they stopped arguing, we called the waiter and placed our orders.

"Good evening, Sir. I guess you will be ordering now because your girlfriend is here," the waiter said.
