Marry Your Daughter - Sirius

It was the best wedding Y/N Potter had even been to. It was not even her wedding, but her brother's one. Just a few hours ago, he married the love of his life, Lily Potter, née Evans. She looked beautiful in her white dress, making the young Potter dream of her wedding. Hopefully with her boyfriend of three years, Sirius Black.

Speaking of Sirius Black, who now walked towards Y/N. He wrapped his arms around her waist from behind. He placed his head on the top of her head, watching the newlywed couple dance. "I haven't seen him that happy since he got his letter," she whispered to her boyfriend. "He got the girl, in the end, little bullhead." They both laughed.

They stood there, swinging to the music until the song ended. James kissed his wife, before jumping on the stage. "I want everyone's attention!" he screamed through the party tent. Every guest looked at him with confusion. Y/N looked up to Sirius, "Do you have an idea what this is about?" She could feel him nod against her head, "I have a bad feeling."

"Sirius Black, my best man, and boyfriend of my little annoying sister," he eyed the couple from the stage, "wanted to sing something." People began to cheer and whistle. The loudest one was much to everyone's surprise, Remus Lupin. Sirius elbowed the werewolf, before letting go of his girlfriend and walked to his best friend on stage. "I hate you," he muttered to his friend and the crowd began to laugh.

The young adult scratched the back of his head, "I actually hoped that he would forget it, because I may get killed after this song." He first looked at Y/N, but his eyes moved to her father as well, who was still amused by the whole thing. Sirius looked at the band, who started to play a song.

In the second, the song started, his eyes never left Y/N. There was an unreadable expression, and he hoped that he didn't go to far. His eyes flickered over to James for a second, who nodded at him and showed him a confident smile.

The crowd was amazed by not only the voice, but also by the words. The oldest and youngest awed and it only caused Y/N's cheeks to heat up. Her father, on the other side, didn't show any reaction at all. Sirius losened his collor and tie.

The song slowly came to an end, and the barrier slowly slipped by Y/N. It moved her to tears. She turned around when she felt the presences of a person behind her. She slightly turned her eyes around, seeing her father watching her boyfriend closely on stage.

Once the song ended, people stood up and gave her standing ovation. The guests in the crowd were so loud, you could barely hear your thoughts. But for Y/N only Sirius existed. The boy jumped down from the stage and walked towards the girl. Before he could say something, her father stepped between them. "Are you asking my daughter to marry you?" There was a lump in his throat, but he still nodded.

A smile slowly stretched on his face. "My only condition is to ask her properly again." He stepped aside, leaving him and Y/N in the spotlight. Sirius moved his hands to his pocket, realizing that he didn't carry the ring with him. James jogged over to his side, pressing the little box into his hand. He winked at his friend and moved to his wife, who smiled brightly at the scene.

Sirius dropped on one knee, letting Y/N finally realize that it was all real and not a dream. "Y/N Potter, the little annoying girl on the train, when I was on my way to my second year in Hogwarts. Never in my life, I expected to love someone just as crazy as you. And I thought my family was mad. You are not that kind of mad. But you are making me mad, with your kind heart, gorgeous look and beautiful smile. You light up the room, in the room you enter it and making me feel that not everyone on this planet is shitty. I want this and your love for the rest of my life. I wanna call you my wife and have many, and I mean many, wonderful children, who will wake us up in the middle of the night to cuddle. I want to grow old with you and sit on our porch, thinking about all the adventures we went through and the hilarious pranks, we pulled. You are exactly what I want for the rest of my life, so I hope you want that too."

Not only the two of them were left in tears, "Will you, Y/N Potter, marry me and be my wife for the rest of the life?" The teary smile already answered the question, but the whisper made it finale, "Yes." The crowd exploded into cheers and congratulations were thrown on them from every corner. Sirius moved the ring on her finger, stood up and pulled his fiance into a deep kiss.
