(Arianna POV)
"Okay thank you.." I said softly as Dr.Anderson walked out of the room leaving me with Luke and Leah.
"What the fuck.." Michael said softly standing next to luke.. the heart moniter for the both of them beeping slowly.
"Michael.. Im scared.." I said crying, he walked up to me and hugged me tightly..
"They'll be fine.."
"Will she remember anything..?" I said sobbing..
"Lets hope one of them doesn't wake up with Amnesia.." Michael sighed.
Dr. Anderson walked in.
"Excuse me, um, Mrs..Clifford..?"
"Woods.." I corrected him
"You two are not married?" The doctor asked looking surprised
"No haha, i'm only 18, he's 19." I smiled a bit.
"Would you two.. like to stay the night, we still can't seem to get ahold of her mother.."
"she's out of town for some sudden buisness meeting... She's on her way back. i talked to her earlier. "But yes thank you."
"Okay, i'll tell the nurse to get you folks blankets and open the couch bed.."
"Okay thank you.."
((Next morning))
I slowly open my eyes as the light from the outside shined through the window..
"Goodmorning.." a voice said.. as i sat up while searching for michael
"Goodmorning.. l-luke?"
"Hi.." Luke sorta smiled
"Where's michael?"
"He went to go get breakfast.." Luke answered eating something out of a plate
"How are you feeling?"
"I don't know, i don't remember anything that happened...just a darkness all the sudden.. what did the doctor say..?"
"Well they put stitches in your head because you cracked it nearly open, you broke your left arm.. so youre in a cast right now.. you can still walk, but you'll be a bit light headed at first.. so move slowly luke.. you can be hard headed.. well.. it must be pretty damn hard if it didn't crack open.. "
"i hate this.. i hate hospital food." He said taking another bite. "wait.. Where's leah..?"
I got up and sighed pulling the curtain that separated luke and leah, revealing a, still, slowly breathing, cold, leah..
"Oh my god.." Luke said getting up.. slowly.. and attempting to walk. "Ouch what the hell!" He shouted..
"Honey, you're hooked on an IV.."
"What the hell is an IV?"
"It's fluids.. to hydrate you.. keep you running..Here.. let me give you the pole, take it with you.. " I said rolling the IV pole to luke, he slowly walked to Leah
"Stop looking at my bare butt."
"Its a disturbing view only leah tolerated." I said rolling my eyes. and walking over to him and leah..
"You did this. For not slowing down.. you took a red light, luke..and a big ass car hit the side that leah was sitting in.. " I said softly walking behind him..
"W-w- i.. i dont.. wait.. i .. is she alive..?" Luke said with teary eyes
"Yes.. She's alive..Will she remember anything when she wakes up?.. we don't know.."
A couple seconds later Dr. Anderson walked in
"No no Luke.. stay in bed.. you might have a sprained ankle..please stay in bed.." He said guiding luke back to his bed..
"I want my girlfriend" Luke cried out. Seeing this happen broke my heart.
"She'll be back soon, by tonight she should be waking up, she's on medication.."
"why does she have an oxygen mask!? and .. and so many.. so many needles in her!?" Luke cried out. It was weird seeing a boy, who never shed 1 tear since Middle school freak out like this.
"Luke.. Luke.. please calm down..She has an oxygen mask to make it easier for her to breathe, she's unconcious. The needles keep her hydrated, theres nothing to worry about, we gave her medication.."
"Where's my daughter?!" Mrs. Parker shouted barging in the room.
"Mrs.. Parker.. please.. do not scream here.. please calm down.." Dr.Anderson said calmly..
"YOU.. " Mrs Parker said pointing at luke and walking over to him..
"YOU DID THIS.. YOU'RE NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAKES UP WITH AMNESIA, DO NOT BOTHER TO MAKE HER REMEMBER YOU'RE HER BOYFRIEND, IF YOU REALLY CARED ABOUT HER YOU'D LET HER MOVE ON TO SOMEONE SO MUCH BETTER THAN YOU WILL EVER BE. YOU'RE NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. IF I CATCH YOU NEAR MY DAUGHTER, WITH OR WITHOUT AMNESIA, I'M CALLING THE COPS AND MAKE THEM ARREST YOU AND PUTTING A RESTRAINING ORDER." mrs. Parker shouted, i've never seen anyone like this..
Luke was terrified, he was cuddled back onto the bed nearly about to cry..
"Arianna, i can't stay here for long..."
"what the heck mrs. Parker.. you came here and now you're leaving..?"
"I have to fly accross the country..its a very important buisness meeting , or else i get fired, i trust you.." Mrs.Parker said
"Whatever mrs.Parker have fun on your damn trip.." I snapped.
(Hours later: Time: 9:34PM)
"Arianna can i have a momen't alone with Leah..?" Luke said softly gettiing up from his bed and walking over to leah..
"Yeah.. Lets go outside michael.. " Arianna said pulling michael's arm..
(LUKE POV)
Once arianna and Michael were outside, the tears came out.. i stood next to her pale cold lifeless body.. in hope she'll wake up..
"Leah.. I know i've said this when we dated but.. please.. wake up.. I love you..im so sorry.." I cried out.. dammit luke stop being a little wussy.
"I love you, and why won't you believe me.. Your mom doesn't want you near me ever again, and she said if she finds me, she'll call the police.. But i love you.. and im so..so sorry.."
I layed my head on her tummy, hoping she'll began playing with my hair, but nothing..
I ran my fingers up and down her arm..
A couple of minutes later, she started shuffling and grumbling..
"Leah?!"
