"Aw, look at you Leah, the Junior crushing on the senior. how cliché." Alex younger sister said. She was a sophomore..
"Oh shut the hell up. He's not even 18..yet..he just skipped a whole grade..so he's graduating early.." I scolded rolling my eyes at the sight of my crush and his girlfriend. He wasnt a buff athlete nor was his girlfriend a cheerleader. He was a talented popular senior with a "sweet" girlfriend. I mean why would he leave her? She had long brown hair. Her eyes were crystal blue and she had a skinny perfect body. Him on the other hand, he was tall and had broad shoulders.. His smile was perfect and his eyes were crystal blue.. but really pretty. His hair stood up and didn't look gelled or gross. His hair looked naturally beautiful, yes, he had acne but it was so cute. It suited him.
"Again luke" Mariana, Luke's current girlfriend said.
"baby stop. it was a damn rumor! why would i fuck a freshman?!" Luke shouted
We were all after school and clearly no one was around. I was against the lockers by the stairs on my phone and hearing and seeing them fight. Luke always stayed after school because he waited for his mom to finish tutoring my little sister.
"no ! no.. you're right...you're just a tutor...it's ok. yeah!! it's fine."she said sounding a bit crazy.
"thank you.. Im doing this for you Mariana! Im trying to raise money and get a damn car and buy our own place.." He said walking up to her.. "mari..I love you..I think" Luke said looking at her then looking down.. He thinks?
"you think?!" she shouted.
"I think! that's a strong word!"
"so you don't love me?" Mariana said
"not yet" Luke answered smiling
"what the hell? either you don't or you do.." she said pushing him
"I have a choice?" luke smiled
she nodded.
"don't."
"i don't get why Luke, i give you everything.."
"well..you had sex with half of the seniors and 75% of the juniors.." he blurted out.
next thing you know her hand was connected to his face.
"You're an ass hole!"
He shrugged.
"Its okay because i fucked your bestfriend anyway." She said grabbing her bookbag and walking away
"You were with ashton?!" He shouts running after her.
"Calum" She corrected. Calum was a senior too.. He was actually my bestfriend other than Alex.. he was my.. guy bestfriend.. It started out when we both got kicked out to Pre-Calculus because we were laughing to hard.. then we got detention.. and it just happened. I didn't know him and Luke were "Bestfriends" though. Gee thanks cal..
Luke and Mariana were fighting while walking.. they stopped right in front of me..
"Im so sick of you luke!"
"Then why dont you just dump me tuts!"
"Fine! We're over!"
"Finally im free!" Luke said in a sharp tone.. i was a bit afraid of his temper.
"Fuck you luke." Mariana said walking away..
"Ditto!" Luke shouted..
I looked down at my phone.. and back up seeing luke bang his hands against the locker indenting it a bit..
"thanks." I blurted out.. wrong timing..
"what?" He snapped looking at me.
"you broke my damn locker hulk.." I said sarcastically pointing at my locker
"oh...uh.. sorry.. i'll take the blame for that...You saw that whole thing?" He said taking his piercing in between his teeth.
"Luke! Lets go!" Mrs Hemmings called from the bottom of the stairs..
"Glad to.. " Luke said pushing past me..
"Hmf.. jerk." I said rolling my eyes
"Heard you" he shouted
"Meant to!" I shouted back
"Who are you anyways?" He walked back to me
"Luke! we gotta go!" Mrs Hemmings shouted back at luke
"The older sister of the girl that your mother tutors."
"what?"
"your mom.. tutors my sister luke"
"how do you know who i am?" he said furrowing his eyebrows
"Didnt i just go over this?"
"whatever...little sophomore.."
"Actually.. im your age.. youre just a grade ahead of me. because youre too scared to not amount to anything to your mom pushes you into getting the most excellent grades.. even if it means.. stress." I blurted out
"you know nothing about me! i just met you!" He shouted.
"Ok you know what.. im not gonna fight..do you need a ride home or something?" Luke said.
"Well.. yeah..."
and.. that.. is where it all began.... the worst and best days of my life..
