"Psst, wake up." Luke said shaking me a bit. "Babe.. AWAKE." He said loduly.. i opened my eyes and looked up at him.
"We're here." Luke smiled
I smiled back and got up.
"haha fix your hair babe" Luke laughed a bit..
*15 Minutes later, Outside the Airport*
"Luke how are we going to get to places these two weeks..?" I asked looking up at luke as he took his phone out with a paper clip.
"We're renting a car." Luke said while taking out his sim card from his iphone.
"What are you doing?"
"Changing my Sim card.." He answered putting another one in and turning his phone on again
"wait why?"
"Because i'm in australia, i need to use an australian number..wait.. here." Luke said taking out another card from his pocket. "Give me your phone."
"Let me guess. mommy sent it in?" I raised an eyebrow
"you bet." He said as a taxi pulled over in front of us..
"Get in." Luke said as he put all our luggage in the trunk of the taxi and getting in the back with me too
"Where to?" The man said with a thick accent, not like luke's but more exaggerated than Ashton's.
"To 1car1" Luke said to the driver.
"Whats that?"
"A car renting place"
"ohh ok" I said "can i have my phone back?" I asked luke, he handed me my phone and i turned it on
(An Hour later)
Luke drove to his mom's house...
"I don't think your mom knows that we dated since highschool.." I said as he parked in the driveway
"well.. she does but..you see..uhm...she thinks im back with...Mariana.."
"Please tell me you're joking.." I said as my face turned red, i felt it
"When we get out ill tell her im with you." Luke said
"Luke! Why didn't you tell her!?" I said nearly about to cry, i loved luke's mom, and she liked me because i was one of her best students..She'd always send me on errands and such and help her grade papers, but dating her son was off limits for some sort of reason, then turns out when Mariana found out about me getting tutored for SATs.. she thought Luke was cheating on me..she got jealous, and told luke's mom a whole bunch of lies about me, Luke's mom began treating me coldly and since then i was no longer her best student.. then after i graduated, Luke's mom left the school, i guess to australia, i never got a chance to tell her that everything mariana had said to her was a lie..till this day, neither luke knows about this.. and his mom probably thinks that poorly of me.
"Because.. it never came up in the conversation.."
"What?!"
"Babe relax.. okay rela--"
"relax?.. you want me to relax.. when you KNOW i am terrified of your mother luke."
"she doesn't bite"
"She hates me luke!"
"what do you mean? You were her favorite student, i saw you grading papers and in the halls.."
"Mariana told her a bunch of lies about me." I blurted out
"w-what?" Luke said half laughing..
"when your mom used to tutor me for .. SATs..."
"You had my mom sophomore year.. how di--"
"I asked her to tutor me afterschool Junior year..for SATs..then she started tutoring my little sister..when my sister became a sophomore.."
"w-what did mariana say?"
"she said i hooked up with every guy in the school, and i only asked for tutoring ..to get close to you and you know how over protective your mother is of you, she said i had some STD....and that i was planning to have sex with you, that im trying to get on her good side to get close to you, that i got pregnant freshman year and aborted it and alot of horrendous things." I said biting my lip after wards.
"w-why would she?"
"because she's a jealous bitch! and since then, your mom stopped tutoring me, and then my mom talked to her so she can tutor Alex.."
"Lets go talk to her.."
"I'm scared.."
"Dont be, it's gonna be okay i promise.." luke said getting out of the car, and going to the trunk and taking out the luggage, shortly his mother came out of the house and ran to him, i was getting out of the car quietly, letting them have their moment, luke was leaning down to his mom, as she kissed his cheeks and hugged him, i cracked a smile when luke's eyes darted to me.. Liz was short, shorter than me, so her son is a giant next to her..i found it cute..seconds later two older boys came running out..
"Luuuuuuke!" Said one of them, i'm sure his name was jack or ben..or something.., he was about the same height as luke, he was more musclely than luke, more manlier, luke was such a boy next to him, Jack or ben or something...and luke hugged and then the shorter brother hugged him afterwards..
"mom...Remember.. Leah?..Leah parker?" Luke said as i walked over to them behind luke..
"Leah.. leah leah...OH...---well.." She said with wide eyes, I pursed my lips and looked down..
"Mom.. we need to talk." Luke said as his brothers 'ooh'd' in the background..
"of course..please come in..lets have dinner first.. im sure you're starving luke.." Liz said before eyeing me down.. i felt awful.
