It had been a year since Dr. Woof had travelled to Earth 16 and saved Wally West, The Kid Flash from the Speed Force, reuniting him with the love of his life, Artemis Crock. The Doctor, Rose, and the Canine Doctor walked together happily. "It sure is a lovely day," said the Doctor. Rose and Dr. Woof nodded in agreement. Rose then raised an eyebrow when she saw something unusual. She saw a centaur walking along, minding his own business. "Doctor, did you see the centaur?" asked Rose. The Doctor took a look and said, "Why yes, I do. That seems peculiar."
"That ain't all guys," said Dr. Woof, "I see a giant walking dog biscuit." Indeed, the dog was right. "What on Earth is going on?" asked Rose. The Doctor then eyed a strange peculiar little man that was floating. He was wearing a strange orange suit with purple pixie shoes, and a purple hat. He had frizzy white hair like a circus clown. He turned one pedestrian into a chicken. "I think I see who might be behind this hullabaloo," said the Doctor as he walked up to the floating man.

"Excuse me, are you the one causing mischief?" asked the Doctor as he looked at the strange man. "Why yes I am Doc," said the little man. Rose and Dr. Woof followed the Doctor. "Who, or in this case, what are you supposed to be?" he asked. "Why my name is Mxyzptlk!" said the little man. "What kind of name is that?" Rose asked, baffled. "It's pronounced Mix-Yes-Spit-Lick!" said Mxyzptlk, "I'm an Imp from the 5th Dimension!" Dr. Woof looked in disbelief. "What are you doing in London?" asked the Doctor. "I felt like causing a little mischief," said the Imp, "and to let you know that I might have messed with an earth similar to this movie." He then pulled out a DVD. It was a DVD known as Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. "Oh, that rubbish?" asked Rose. "I call it Earth 39!" said Mxyzptlk. "What did you do?" asked the Doctor. "I may have given Lex Luthor a book of the dead that could cause calamities," said Mxyzptlk, "ya might need a new companion. Kltpzyxm!" Mxyzptlk then disappeared. "Well, that was pretty random," said Dr. Woof.
"A book of the dead," pondered the Doctor, "that's no good. Dr. Woof, would you be willing to go to Earth 39 and stop this calamity?" Dr. Woof nodded and said, "I would indeed. I could use a new companion anyway." The Doctor then got out his Sonic Screwdriver, and summoned the TARDIS. The Doctor gave the Canine Doctor the Sonic Screwdriver and said, "Good luck Dr. Woof." Rose then gave Dr. Woof a pat on the back. The Canine Doctor then went into the TARDIS, and the TARDIS then disappeared.
