Thursday's sunlight leaked through the curtains of Leigh-Anne's bedroom. The sunlight caught her eyelids, making them slowly flicker open. She was almost startled to wake-up face to face with a sleeping Goldie Locks. The two had not spoken since Leigh-Anne brought up her fear of cars. Perrie had fallen asleep halfway through the movie.
Leigh-Anne slowly peeled back the covers of her bed, still keeping some on Perrie. The raven-haired beauty thought of the Perrie as she walked towards her closet. She had seen a different side of 'Perrie Edwards, the badass'. A softer, more friendly than she had imagined Perrie to be. She'd also seen that Perrie wasn't fearless, in fact, it seemed to be a phobia.
The half-asleep teen pulled open her drawers and picked out two different uniforms. Perrie was a bit shorter than Leigh-Anne but she wasn't too short so she should have no problem fitting into it. A small blush flushed Leigh-Anne's face when she realized Perrie would need clean underwear. She pulled open her underwear drawer and searched until she found a the least geeky undergarments she owned. Silently, Leigh-Anne placed the clothes on the end of the bed and took her own stuff to her en suite.
Warm beads of water tickled down Leigh-Anne's back. She stood in the middle of the sprinkle for a few minutes, just enjoying the time to herself. She washed her body and attempted to wash her hair but it always ended up with her hands tangled in her curly locks. Finally, when she was all cleaned up she stepped out of the shower and pulled on her school uniform. Another twenty-minutes go by as she combed through her wild locks and pulled it up into a high ponytail. Leigh-Anne pushed her glasses onto the bridge of her nose and she slowly exited her bathroom.
The sight Leigh-Anne saw made colour rush to her cheeks and let out a small gasp. Perrie was naked. Her back was facing the door so Leigh-Anne only saw her bare back. Forcefully, Leigh-Anne diverted her eyes from her body to the floor and semi shut the door. She slightly leant against the frame, more color rushing to her cheeks. I'll just check, to make sure I'm not seeing things, she thought. Leigh-Anne turned back to the door and opened it slowly, getting another peak of Perrie. This time, Perrie was on her side, pulling on her tartan skirt and she was only in her bra. Leigh-Anne quickly pulled her gaze away from Perrie and shut the door as quiet as possible. After a few moments of waiting, Leigh-Anne did what she should have done in the first place.
"Are you awake?" Leigh-Anne questioned, trying to push the sight of Perrie naked to the back of her head.
"Yeah," Perrie called back.
"Are you decent?"
"Yeah," Perrie said again, causing Leigh-Anne to sigh and opened the door.
"Let's head down the breakfast," Leigh-Anne said, not even glancing at Perrie.
The house was cold and silent, just like every other day. Even in the summer the house seemed to always had a cold presence. Maybe it was because Leigh-Anne felt lonely most of the time or maybe it was because her parents haven't had a proper conversation in over a year.
The girls walked down the winding steps and entered the kitchen. Louisa was setting down plates of food onto the table. One if front of John who was sitting in front of his computer, his eyebrows knotted together in concentration.
"Morning girls, I trust that you slept well," he said, his eyes didn't leave his computer but his voice was warm and happy.
"Yes. Thank you for letting me stay," Perrie said, taking a seat across from Leigh-Anne.
"Oh, of course. You're welcome anytime dear," he smiled and looked at Perrie through his aged brown eyes.
"So Leigh, how's Violet?" John questions, causing Leigh-Anne to put down her fork slowly.
"She's- She's not my friend anymore," Leigh-Anne said quickly, tension quickly rose over the dining table.
"Sorry to hear that, sweetheart. I see you've already made friends though," he said, quickly glancing at Perrie than turning his gaze back to his computer.
"Do you need a ride to school? I'm heading into town to run some errands," John stated, pushing his glasses into his nose.
Worried eyes fell onto Leigh-Anne as she opened her mouth to speak, "We'll walk. It's only 7:15 now and it's a fifteen minute walk."
Leigh-Anne glanced over to Perrie who had a look of relief. A weak smile was earned from Leigh-Anne before she turned back to her meal.
The girls sat in silence as they finished their fruit salads and juices. Once they had finished their meals, Leigh-Anne took all the plates and entered their kitchen. Louisa was cleaning the benches. Leigh-Anne set the plates in the sink and said her goodbyes to Louisa.
"Let's go," Leigh-Anne stated as she re-entered the dining room. Perrie and John had engulfed into a conversation which made Leigh-Anne pray is wasn't a story about her.
"Okay," Perrie said, and waved goodbye to Mr. Pinnock.
Perrie and Leigh-Anne collected their school bags and walked towards the front door. The girls walked down the patio steps that were covered in large specks of snow. They were almost at the end of the driveway before a conversation started.
"So, about that plan to sabotage Violet," Perrie started but immediately gets interrupted.
"No!" Leigh-Anne said quickly, remembering how their conversation went yesterday which caused Leigh-Anne to shove her hands into her pockets.
"Ugh, you're so vanilla," Perrie groaned as the girls turned onto the pathway.
"Am not!" Leigh-Anne spoke as she grew quite angry.
"Well then let's do it. Let's crash Violet's party that's happening Saturday night!" Perrie suggested as she fiddled with her bag straps.
"You're insane."
"You're boring," Perrie teased as she poked Leigh-Anne's shoulder.
"Just-" Leigh-Anne took a deep breath to stop herself from yelling, "Just, tell me the plan."
A small grin appears on Perrie's face.
"Okay well, we'll get Ellie to uh... Slutify you-"
"What?!" Leigh-Anne yells.
"Well we're gonna have to upstage Violet so Andre ditch her for you. I mean you're already gorgeous but with you wearing skimpy clothes, it will make Violet feel intimidated. Then when Violet gets sulky and goes to her room when can be hiding in there and scare her, throw slime at her and record her. We'll upload and bam, life ruined."
"I don't know," Leigh-Anne slowly as she raised an eyebrow.
"Please, I haven't pranked in forever. I miss it," Perrie said as she dramatically holds her hands to her heart.
"No."
"Come on."
"I said no!"
"What if this all works out and Andre falls for you," Perrie said as another smirk creep upon her face.
Leigh-Anne's head snaps towards Perrie. Maybe, that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Being noticed by Andre was something she had wished for since year seven. This was an opportunity to achieve this dream.
"Fine, I'll do it."
