It had been 4 days, and Louis was still incapable of talking to Liam.

Every time he tried to do it, he chickened out at the last minute.

And Harry kept telling him to do it already, so they could be free to be together, but Louis was still incapable.

Not that he hadn't seen Harry at all, actually he and Julian had seen Harry every single one of those 4 days, but they had been making sure that it was at hours that Liam wouldn't catch them.

But he knew it was ridiculous, and that they couldn't continue like that, so tonight he was going to do it; he had cooked a nice meal so he and Liam could talk while they ate it.

Yes, they were definitely going to talk.

From Harry💚: I bet you £5 that u won't do it.

To Harry💚: I will!

From Harry💚: Lou, if you're too scared, I'll do it, okay?

To Harry💚: No, I will.

From Harry💚: I've heard that before.

To Harry💚: I mean it this time, trust me.

From Harry💚: Ok, love.

Louis heard the door of the flat unlocking, and he knew it had to be Liam.

To Harry💚: He just got here, I'll let u know how it goes xxxxxxx

From Harry💚: Good luck! xx

He left the phone with the screen to the counter, just in case, just as Liam showed up at the kitchen.

"Hey, mate" Louis smiled.

"Hi, Lou" Liam greeted back as he went to wash his hands at the sink.

"How was your day?" Louis wondered.

"Pretty good, there was not a lot of work to do" Liam answered, and when he was done with his hands, he went to the living room and bent down to pick up Julian from the bouncer, where the baby had been chilling "Hi, Jules, come here, love".

"I made dinner" Louis announced.

"Great, I'm starving" Liam replied "Need help with something?".

"No, just go sit down" Louis instructed.

Liam did, and Louis served the food he cooked in two plates, and brough them to the table, leaving one in front of Liam while he left the other on the place in front of him.

"This looks great" Liam said looking at the food.

"I was cooking all day" Louis shrugged.

"Why? Are you celebrating something or...?" Liam trailed off.

"No, I just felt like it" Louis shrugged, and pointed at the table "There's water, but I can get you a beer".

"Sure" Liam agreed.

Louis went back to the kitchen, grabbed a bottle of beer, and brought it back to the table, grabbing Julian's bouncer on his way to put it closer to the table.

"Let me put Julian back in the bouncer so we can eat" Louis said after he gave Liam his beer, and offered his hands to take his son.

Liam gave back the baby, and Louis strapped him to the bouncer, and moved the little mobile that was hanging from it to keep the baby entertained.

But all it did was cause the almost 2 month old baby to whine.

"Julian, come on, uncle Liam and I need to have dinner" Louis told his baby "So be good for 20 minutes, and then I'll hold you all you want, deal?".
