several days later

PASTOR: (reads Job 1:20-21 to the congregation who are all dressed in black) "Then Job arose, and rent his mantle and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground and worshiped, and said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither. The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." None of us present might never know the reason why God took Little Horatio Spafford the Second so soon. (Horatio, Anna who is holding baby Tanetta, Annie, Maggie Lee, and Bessie are in the front row in tears) Though the Spaffords are experiencing such trying times, God stated in His word that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Those of you who are present in this service who do not know the Lord as Savior, I must say this. No one present ever imagined Little Horatio would be taken away so soon. Tomorrow is not promised. I plead with you, repent. Forsake your own self and trust in Jesus Christ to save your soul today.
