Chapter 43: Merry Christmas Part 2

"Ames!" I hear and I turn and see my little sister May running up to me. She hugs me tightly

"Hey May" I giggle, Maxon clears his throat and she bolts up and hugs him "Maxon!" He chuckles "good to see you May" (A/N I don't know why but I just started to fangirl about them😂) "you too!" May smiled and pulled away from the hug.

I smile at them, I'm so happy that they are in my life. I turn around and see Geared "hey buddy!"

He smiles at me "Hey Ames"

He looks taller and older, where has the time gone? I look over and see Kenna "Hey" I smile at her

"Hey" she smiles back, she's been having a few miscarriages so she's been a little sad lately

I smile at Mom "hey Mom"

"Hello sweetie" she says and hugs me and kisses me on the forehead, then pulls away from the hug and walks over to Maxon and hugs him.

"Hello Maxon" she smiles as she hugs him

He smiles at her "hi Mom"

My heart melts at the two of them, Maxon has been so happy to call her Mom considering his mother is gone. I miss Amberly, that's why we named our little girl Amberly.

"I'm guessing Kota isn't coming?" I ask

My whole family shakes their head "heck no was he going to be here" my mom said and I smile at her. "Thank you"

—time skip—

The kids come home and they open up presents and have fun with my family. They crash at about 8:00 and we bring them up to bed and wait for Santa to come.

—the next morning—

The kids of course come and wake me and Maxon up shouting "Santa came! Santa came!" In our ears. So we go downstairs and have them open up their gifts from Santa and from us and they play with their new toys that they got. While Maxon and I cuddle by the fireplace.
