Chapter 44: What's Happening?

I was asleep one morning then all of the sudden I'm abruptly woken up by Maxon.

"What is it Maxon?"

"America we have to go! Now!" He looked worried and urgent.

"Maxon what's going on?"

"I'll explain later! We have to go now!" He said, he picked me up and I had just then realized that everything in our room was gone.

"Maxon Where is all of our stuff?" I ask

"On the plane! Now let's go! The kids are already on the plane" He said running to the plane.

"I'm scared, what's happening?" I ask frightened

"Don't be scared Ames. Trust me" he said looking down at me. He boarded the plane and set me in a seat and he let out a sigh of relief.

"Can you explain now?" I ask

He nodded "someone was taking over the castle and it was falling to pieces, I had to get you out of there"

I gasp "what? No that can't be possible"

"There's been this guy that's always been attacking us and this is the worst one yet" Maxon said

"Where are we going?"

"France" he smiled "I know how much you loved Paris the first time we went so I decided to go there, we will still be ruling the country but from a different country. They need to rebuild the castle for us and that might take a year"

I smile at him lovingly "that sounds amazing"

"I'm glad" he kissed me on the cheek and fell asleep in his chair.

I looked out the window for a while, the kids were asleep and I ended up falling asleep.

Hey guys! Sorry it took me a while to update, I'm busy with school and everything so yeah. I added more action to this, I thought this was more exciting and plus it will help the story be longer. Otherwise I would've written the epilogue.

I think I'm getting the flu or I'm getting a fever, it's 68 degrees in my house, I'm laying in bed, wrapped up in a blanket, a duvet on top of me (a really heavy comforter) and another blanket on top of that and I'm still freezing....
