Aang and Katara's Love Never Breaks

Chapter 1

A/N: Another Kataang story! NOT RELATED TO OTHER ONE! Hope you love it! The first chapter takes place at the end of book three!

As Katara walked closer to Aang, she knew what was going to come. She put a gentle hand on his shoulder making him jump a little. Katara pulled him into a warm hug. When the hug ended they stared into each other's eyes, Aang put a hand on the girl's cheek and pulled her into a comforting kiss. Aang moved his hand to her waist, touching their body's closer and closer. When they came up for air, they both whispered,

"I love you."

As they turned looking toward the building, they saw Sokka and Toph looking at them. Sokka's jaw was practically on the floor, while Toph just rolled her eyes and sighed, "Finally. I've been waiting for this for the longest time." The blind girl said, happily, but slightly annoyed.

"Sokka, close your mouth. Everybody has kissed somebody before," Katara said, eye rolling at her ponytailed brother. Toph put one arm around her waist as she 'looked' at the ground. Katara noticed and said to Toph,

"Toph... Surely you've kissed someone before, right?" Katara asked questionably. Toph's bangs fell over her face. "Hahaha..." She said shyly looking at the ground. "Of corse I have!" She yelled, kicking her foot at the ground, creating a chair to sit in.

As she sat down on her chair, she sighed loudly as the earthbender created three more chairs for the other three. She took a deep breath and said, "Listen, guys. My parents kept me a secret for twelve years. I never had a real friend until you guys rescued me. I haven't had a chance to kiss anyone! Just drop it and leave me alone," She said, one again kicking her foot and making her chair go in the opposite direction. "What are we gonna do about that girl? We gotta get her a date!" Katara facepalmed.

Sokka sighed and looked at the ground. "Technically speaking, we can't get her a good date. Much less a kiss. Besides, you're with Aang, Zuko's with Mai, Iroh's with tea, and I don't even know what Momo and Appa are doing," Sokka said using his strategic voice. Appa groaned in the distance with that comment. Aang and Katara faceplamed yet again. Aang's eyes lit up with an idea, then smirked and looked at Katara. She looked at him with a confused look on her face, and then a look of realisation crossed her face.

"Sokka... Why don't you kiss her?" Katara said sneakily. "WHAT?" Sokka yelled loudly, standing up. "Me?! Kiss her?! But- But I'm with Suki!" He yelled scaring some birds in the distance. Katara pinched the bridge of her nose and said, "Sokka, don't break my eardrums. And what's so bad about kissing Toph? Plus, I doesn't have to mean anything," Katara sighed. She and Aang looked over their shoulders at the sky. "Sokka, just consider it. It's getting dark. Come back to me and Katara's room and we'll talk more." Aang and Katara linked arms and walked away. Sokka sat there, eyes closed, his hands running through his hair.

"What am I gonna do?"
