As Toph started to run back to her room, she thought about how she kissed Sokka. Just thinking of the memory made her sad. When she finally reached her room, she earthbent the door open and closed it behind her as she entered. she crawled into her bed and sobbed.
"W- why doesn't anyone love m-me?" She whimpered. She suddenly heard a knock on her door. Sokka.
"Toph? I'm sorry about earlier. Forgive me?" He pleaded.
"J-just leave me alone, p-ponytail!" Toph yelled back, sobbing.
"Please let me in?"
"F-fine..."
When Toph opened the door, Sokka walked in, looking at his shoes. Toph closed the door behind him slowly. When Sokka turned the corner, Toph had made an Earth tent around her.
"Can I look at you?" Sokka asked as sweetly as he could. She slowly took down her tent and looked at him, eyes red. He walked up to the younger girl, now sitting up. Sokka scooped her up with his strong arms and laid her back on her bed.
"I'm sorry, Toph," Sokka said smiling down at her. He bent over and kissed her forehead.
"Ok, now I'm really confused. Why'd you kiss me! You're with Suki!" Toph yelled, earthbending him from side to side.
"Sor- ry, To-ph! Can. You. Stop. Please!" Sokka yelled, flailing his arms around.
Toph sat him down and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Spirits. What am I going to do with you?" She started pacing around the room. "All I've ever wanted from you was your attention and love. Now what do I get? A stab in the back. Gee, thanks Sokka!"
The boy looked down, tearing up. "You... like me?" "Of course I do! What were you thinking, dunderhead?" She complained. He got up and walked toward the door. "Where you going?" The blind girl said, tilting her head slightly.
"To break up with Suki."
