Until your heart caves in

In the morning Ricky and I got up quite late. I had been thinking about the party- would he want to go? I hadn't seen my friends in ages and I wanted to. Hopefully he will say yes.

I was broken out of my thoughts by Ricky waving his hand in my face...

"Earth to Taylor." Ricky said sarcastically. I laughed and just told him I was tired, although I think he knew something was going on.

Ricky and I just talked and ate our breakfast and after that the guys went to rehearse. It never failed to amaze me at how good they were.

I got a text from Lucy telling me the details about the party. It was in 2 days time and loads of my friends were going including Lauren.

My friends Emily and Fiona were also going to be there. They were all going with their boyfriends too, but I didn't know who they were. I was told I would probably know them though. Hmmmmm, it's a surprise I guess.

Lucy asked if the other guys from MIW would like to go as Kuza was going to be there along with some other bands. I really didn't know Lucy had so many band friends!!!

The guys finished practice and I went up to hug Ricky and I kissed his cheek. I heard him chuckle and he hugged me back. After that all of us walked into the kitchen to get dinner as it was already 7 o'clock.

Wow.

Every minute I spend with the guys is perfect and I truly am happy with Ricky and however cheesy it sounds he really does complete me. Time just whizzes by when I'm around them all.

We all decided that we could go and get some chicken wings from the restaurant down town. We didn't really want to eat in so we thought we would just collect the food and come home to eat and watch movies.

Ricky offered to go get the food so I said I would go with him. We got in the car and I stared out of the window drowning in my thoughts. Ricky put his hand on my thigh and I clasped it and held it tight.

Ricky pulled into a parking space and we got out of the car. I skipped up to the door and waited for Ricky in the shop. He opened the door for me and I held onto his hand when we made our order.

We had to wait at the tables as it wasn't ready yet so we both sat down. I just got caught up in my thoughts and searched through the music on my phone. Ricky took my phone and started playing Wings of a butterfly by H.I.M and I laughed as he pulled an ear bud out of my ear to listen to it. I moved closer to Ricky and he pulled me up onto his lap.

I softly sang under my breath and Ricky placed his hands around my waist and sang the chorus with me. The song finished and I smiled and looked deeply into his vibrant blue eyes.

He leaned in and kissed me quickly before we were rudely interrupted by the waitress telling us our food was ready. She dropped the bag of food on our table and continued to smack her chewing gum in between her jaws. She stormed off and was obviously mad about something. So we just got our food and left, seeing as we didn't need anything else.

On the drive home there was a comfortable silence in the car and when we arrived back home we gave the guys their food. I went to go inside but Ricky lightly pulled me to the side by my arm. We were quiet at first but then Ricky spoke up...

"You don't seem yourself today Taylor," Ricky said with genuine concern.

I looked down. I knew I should tell him. I smiled a reassuring smile to him and I sat down on the stairs in the hallway. Ricky sat next to me and held my hand. I explained about the party and Ricky just told me not to keep secrets and said it was fine if we went to the party.

"I was worried you wouldn't let me go." I admitted

"I would never treat you like that Taylor. You are still an independent woman and if you want to ask me something, then just do it." Ricky replied honestly.

"I love you." I said joyfully

"I love you to Taylor Elizabeth Cerulli." Ricky replied as we made our way into the living room to where the rest of the guys were.
