Band Practice

Taylor's POV:

I got up this morning feeling refreshed, I had really enjoyed seeing my friends and were glad they all got to meet Ricky.

I sat up in the bed and looked over to one side to see Ricky sleeping. He didn't look like he would be waking up anytime soon, so I just got up and took a shower.

After I had finished, I grabbed a towl of the cabinet and wrapped myself in it. I walked back into the room to see Ricky starting to wake up.

I left him a little note telling him I was getting dressed in his bathroom and kissed his cheek before leaving the room to get changed.

Ricky's POV:

I was half asleep this morning, I really didn't want to get up but I knew I had to. I had band practice with the rest of the guys...and Chris's new bitch of a girlfriend.

I didn't want to tell Taylor that she was coming but I knew she would find out sooner or later. Taylor is always excited about band practice and loves to hear us play. It frustrates me that this "Kate" girl could change all that.

I finaly managed to pull myself out of bed and got dressed in a black t shirt and black jeans.

I found a note Taylor left for me and laughed as I read it, to be honest she had the worst handwriting I have ever seen but somehow I loved the way every letter looked so different and how the ink was smudged across the page. I guess it's the little things, right?

I went over to my mirror and started to put my make-up on, when I heard the door to my bathroom open. I knew it was Taylor so I just carried on with what I was doing. I saw her give me a little good morning wave and I waved back. We both laughed at how stupid we were being.

After a minute she sat down on the bed and checked her phone, I looked over to her every now and then to check she was ok. She would always flash her beautiful smile at me and it always made me happy.

I finished my last touches of make-up and went to sit down next to Taylor. She moved over slightly and rested her head on my shoulder. I held her close to me and we both just watched the time slip by, after a while I realised what I had to tell her and my smile faded.

"Taylor?" I asked her softly.

"Yes, what is it?" she replied with a nervous smile.

"We have band practice and Chris and his girlfriend are going to be her for the rest of the day." I said sadly, knowing she would be upset.

"well..." she trailed off. I could see she was getting upset. I pulled her onto my lap and cradled her in my arms. I hated seeing her like this and it was all kate's fault!

She whispered something into my chest but I didn't hear it. After a couple of minutes she got up and stood in front of me.

"Do I look alright?" She asked me quietly.

"Yes, you always look amazing. Don't worry If she says anything out of line just ignore her." I said.

She smiled a weak smile for me and just nodded.

We went downstairs and noticed that Ryan was the only one up. We also noticed that he was making pancakes for everyone. Taylor ran up to him and gave him a side hug, seen as he was busy cooking. He just laughed and put the first one on her plate. I then got some of my own and waited for the others to get up.

Angelo got up next, probably because he could smell our breakfast! Then Balz and Devin came downstairs to get some food and sat down with us. We did all miss Chris, It felt odd not having him around but he had changed now he was with Kate. Hopefully it will work itself out.

We all finished our breakfast and went down to the basement to set up our instruments. I grabbed my guitar and played a couple of different riffs to get ready for practice, everyone else just played their instruments a little and waited for Chris to turn up.

We waited for a while and soon enough, I heard the door bell ring signaling that they were here. Great.

I gave Taylor a quick hug before going to get the door.

This could be...Interesting.
