Veronica's POV
It had been seven years since I almost lost him.
Him.
My everything. The reason I wake up in the morning. My best friend.
My husband.
I had never been happier than the day I got to marry Jason. That is, until now.
I stared down at the stick in my hand and blinked a few times. This wasn't happening. There was no way, jd and I had been trying to have a child for nearly two years now.
But here it was, right in front of me.
I was pregnant.
I ran into our bedroom grabbing my phone eagerly.
Pick up, pick up, pick up.....I whispered to nobody.
"Hey, hon, what's up?"
"Do you think you could come home early today? I have a surprise" I asked, barely able to control myself.
"Yeah, of course. I'll go tell my boss. See you in ten?"
"Okay, bye, I love you!"
"Love ya." He said warmly before hanging up.
I squealed to myself before throwing my phone onto the bed.
Soon I heard the door being unlocked as my husband walked in. I ran up to him, throwing my arms around his neck.
"What's going on?" He asked, smirking.
"I think you'll want to sit down."
He frowned and made his way to the couch.
When I finally couldn't hold it in any longer, I ran to grab the test from the bathroom and handed it to Jason.
For a moment, he just stared at it exactly as I had. Then, all of the sudden, a ridiculously huge grin broke out on his face. He jumped up and threw his arms around me, tears streaming down his beautiful face.
"I love you, Veronica."
"I love you too."
Okay, this was really bad. I'm not super into this ship, but I had this idea and it kinda worked with them. <3
