I woke up in the morning, about two months after we began planning the wedding, to something wet on my neck. "Wha-?" I said, cutting off once I realized that it was Cole kissing and sucking on my neck. I chuckled. "Woke up horny I see." I stated. Cole shook his head. "No. I wanted you to wake up. Calling your name and pushing you didn't work, so I thought I try this." I smiled and kissed him on the lips before nuzzling along his jawline. "You're so cute." I said before getting out of bed. I made my way downstairs and began making breakfast for Cole and I. I was alerted of his presence when I felt a pair of arms around my waist and I felt Cole's slender fingers on my chest. I smiled and took his hand, bringing it up to my mouth as I kissed his palm. "Why'd you wake me up so early anyway? I thought today was a lazy day." Cole shook his head. "I wish. We have a meeting with the specialist in two hours. Then after that we meet with the wedding planner, and then after that we have a meeting with Luke." Luke was our manager.

I sighed. "Why are we so busy today?" Cole smiled trying to cheer me up. "I guess we're so popular." I gave him a half smile. "I know what you're trying to do babe. It's sweet, but not working. I just wanted a to be alone at home with my fiancé." Cole smiled, nuzzling my neck. "And you will. Just tomorrow, not today." I sighed before turning back to the stove, taking the omelets off the stove. "I made you an omelette. Just the way you like it." I said with a smile, as I handed Cole his plate. He kissed my cheek before sitting down to eat. We ate in a comfortable silence before I put the plates in the sink and went upstairs to change. I got dressed in a simple pair of black cargo shorts and a dark grey and black striped tank. Cole got dressed, looking presentable and professional as always in a pair of khaki pants, a plain white t-shirt and a black vest. We headed down to the car, Cole driving to the specialist.

We got out of the car and headed inside once we arrived at the fertility clinic. I had Cole sit down as I went to the front desk to sign us in and make sure that our health insurance was up to date. I then took a seat next to Cole. He was a mess, his legs bouncing, hands shaky and clammy. He kept glancing around nervously, chewing on his lip. I put an arm around him, rubbing his shoulder. "Relax baby. Why are you so nervous?" I asked. He stopped gnawing on lip to look at me. "What if they say that the in vitro didn't work? What if none of the eggs work? What if-?" I pressed my lips to Cole's and held them there until I felt his breathing level out. "Are you okay now?" I asked, looking him in the eye. He nodded, staying quiet. "Cole, everything is going to be all right. We're going to go in there and the doctor will tell us that our surrogate is pregnant and that everything is fine. If he doesn't, then we'll just try again, and if that doesn't work, we can adopt." I say calmly. Cole looks at me as he nods. "How are you so good under pressure?" He asks me. I smiled. "All the therapy sessions and medications I was on for my bipolar disorder have worked magic on me." I said, giving his cheek a peck before standing up. "What are you doing?" Cole asked. I pulled him up to his feet. "The nurse called us 10 minutes ago. It's our turn to head in."

I took Cole's hand a gave it a squeeze as I walked him back to the doctor's office. Once there, we took a seat in the chairs across the desk from the doctor. "So is it good news or a minor set back?" She smiled at us as she slid a file across the table to us. "Congratulations! Your surrogate mother is pregnant which means you guys are going to be fathers." Dr.Ramsey said. "With in vitro fertilizations in situations like yours, we wait until after week 8 to alert the parents of the pregnancy to make sure that the fetus is developing properly. Your child, or children, are doing fine so far and the surrogate mother decided to wait until the week 12 appointment to find out the gender and number. In her file, I also added the appointment schedule. Theresa said that she wants you guys there for the appointments, and according to her, it only makes sense to have you two there since you're the fathers." I nodded and looked over the woman's file. "I suggest you guys meet up with her before the appointment so that you can get to know her. She wants you guys to be a big part of the pregnancy, and she wants to be a part of the baby's life even after the pregnancy, but that's ultimately up to you." She says.
