Chapter 5: The Full Wedding Experience

I was so unbelievably excited. Today was the day before our wedding day. It was amazing to see how all our planning and stuff came together. Cole and I walked around the courtyard, hand in hand, as we checked out the place that will be hosting our wedding in a mere number of hours. "Can you believe it baby? In just 16 hours we'll be getting married here." I smiled at him as I looked around. The decorations have really come together. White roses filled all the potters and lined the aisle. The aisle and the chairs were covered in white fabric accented with gold. The archway was made of greenery, sprinkled with more white roses. It was really beautiful. "I know." I said, responding to Cole. "It all looks beautiful. I'm really excited for the ceremony." I said, turning to Cole. He smirked at me, pulling me close to him by my belt loops. "I'm more excited for what will happen when the night is over." He whispered into my ear in low tone. I blushed a deep red as I wrapped my arms around his neck and I buried my face in his shoulder. "Babe... Stop." I said before feeling his hands make their way to my hips.

I had thought it would be nice to stay abstinent up to the wedding so that when we had sex as a married couple it'd be more meaningful and such. So we haven't had sex in about a month, month and a half. I've been able to hold up on it fairly well. Cole on the other hand... Not so much. He was able to hold out for the first week or two, but after that he was very heated. Even the simplest kiss would get him turned on. I could barely hug him without it almost leading to sex. It was hard for me just because I couldn't be affectionate with him. Cole chuckled. "I don't know why you thought that this was a good idea. A month and a half without sex? Never again." I lifted my head off his shoulder and smiled at him. "Just think of it this way. Tomorrow night's sex will be unbelievably great." He smiled at me and pecked my lips. "I know, I can't wait." I pulled away from him but intertwined my fingers with his. "Come on. Let's go back to the hotel room to get the kids ready and get our stuff together." He nodded and we walked back to the resort. As per wedding tradition, Cole and I weren't going to be spending the night together. He was going to stay with his friends from Texas, Brandon and Marcus, and I was going to be staying with Tyler and Hunter. Natalia and Vincent were going to be staying with Becca and her husband and their kids for the next two days since Cole and I are going to have some alone time the wedding day.

We got back to our resort suite and I began packing an over night bag for Natalia and Vincent with their essentials and some underwear, and then a change of clothes each for the day after the wedding. I made sure to put Natalia's princess doll in her bag and a couple toy cars in Vincent's. I put their outfits for the ceremony in a garment bag before packing up my overnight bag. I threw in some clothes for the day after, even though I probably won't need them, and all my necessities. I then got my tux out of the closet and put it in a garment bag. "Baby are you ready?" I asked Cole. He nodded. "Yeah, let's go drop the kids' stuff off at my sister's room." I grabbed my things, the kids' garment bag and Vincent's bag, as Cole grabbed his things and Natalia's bag and both headed down the hall to my sister's room. I knocked on the door and she answered. "Hey you guys. I'll take these." She said, taking the kids' belongings from us and letting us in. I dropped my stuff by the doorway so that I could say goodnight to Natalia and Vincent. I saw Vinny playing with his cars with his cousin Heather. I ruffled his hair a bit to let him know that I was there. "Hi Papa!" He said, standing up. I gave him a big hug. "Goodnight kiddo. Be good for Aunt Becca, okay?" I asked. He nodded. "Okay." I smiled and kissed his forehead before putting him down.

I walked over to Natalia who was dressing her Barbie doll, and I picked her up. "Hi princess. Are you going to be okay here with Aunt Becca tonight?" Natalia nodded. "Daddy, I'm a big girl now." I chuckled, seeing that she's only four. "Okay, okay." I said, kissing her cheek before putting her down. "Alright. Good night guys." I said before grabbing my things from by the door, and heading out the room. Once the door closed behind us, I turned to Cole. "I'll see you in the morning before the wedding?" I asked. Cole nodded. "Absolutely. See you then babe." He said before pecking me on the lips. We parted ways and I headed to Hunter and Tyler's room. They invited me in and I dropped my bag by one of the beds, hanging my garment bag in the closet with theirs before taking a seat in one of the armchairs. Tyler took a couple beers from the fridge and handed one to me and Hunter. We all popped the tops off before putting our bottles up. "To Dalton, who in a number of hours will become a married man." Hunter said. I smiled and sipped my beer. All of this still seemed so surreal. It wasn't until I was lying in bed that night, that it really sunk in for me that I was getting married in less than a day.
