Cole and I rushed around the house making sure that we had everything. Today was going to be a long day. We have dress and tux fittings with the wedding party, meetings with the pastry chef who's doing out cake, finalizing the menu with the head chef of the catering company, getting our wedding bands designed, and that's just the wedding stuff. We also have the first sonogram for our child with Theresa and a meeting with orphanage to adopt our second kid. I hated being extremely busy and stressed, and I could already tell that today would not be a good day. First thing up on the list for today was the dress and tux fittings. We already had Nate pick out the dresses and tuxes, all we had to do is try them and see if they fit. If they don't then they have to be altered or we need to get just completely new styles. Cole and I took the car to the Grove and then parked it in a parking garage at the end of the street. We then walked to the formal wear shop, Cole's arm around my waist as I texted Luke the name and address of the store for him to pass on to the paparazzi.
We entered the store together to see that our wedding party was already here. "Hey Alex, how's the baby?" I asked. Alex, Gabe's wife, was about seven or eight months pregnant with their first kid. Or kids I should say. They're having twins, fraternal twins thank god. One boy and one girl. They already said that me and Cole were going to be one set of god parents. "I'm doing good for the most part, thanks for asking Dalton. My back hurts like hell and my feet hurt sometimes, but other than that I'm fine. It's a pain carrying around two human beings." She says with a laugh, I laughed before moving on to talk to someone else. I chatted with everyone as the employees of the store brought out the dresses and suits. "Alright we can have the girls in the back and then the boys out here." I nodded and took the suits going through the names. I handed them out to their rightful owners before I began to change into mine. I really liked what they did.
The guys in our party had all black tuxes with white shirts and colored ties, either light blue if they were with me or light green for Cole. He and I on the other hand had white suit jackets, black tux pants, a white shirt, and gold tie. Our tuxes were a little different from each other's, mine was a looser jacket with nice fitting pants where as Cole's was very fitted in the jacket and his pants were skinny fit dress pants. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck, as he put his arms around my waist. "You look amazing in that tux." He murmured against my neck. I smiled and pecked his nose. "You look great too." I said, taking out my phone to take a picture of the two of us. I took the picture and posted it on Instagram, using the location option, and immediately the fans started going crazy over it. After having my tux pinned for alterations, I took it off and put it back. The only people that are going to need major changes towards the wedding are Alex, since she won't be pregnant anymore, and any other girls who get pregnant. Once all the clothing was collected, Cole and I headed out the shop and down the street to the bakery for our cake.
We headed inside the little bakery and rang the bell. It was our favorite place to go to for desserts, they even had homemade ice cream. We smiled as the head pastry chef came out from the back. "Ah it's my two favorite boys! What can I do for you guys today?" Diego asked, pulling out his order pad. Cole smiled. "We need a cake for our wedding in October." Diego smiled. "Ah come to my office so we can talk about it. I'm glad to see you two are finally settling down. How long have you been engaged?" I looked at Cole. "Um about a year. We've been together for like 6 years now." I said. Diego have us a look as we all sat down in his office. "Well what's taken you guys so long?" Cole chuckled. "Our careers. We wanted to have a proper wedding ceremony so we couldn't just get married any where." He said. Diego nodded. "So what can I do for you in terms of desserts?" "We want you to do the wedding cake, cupcakes, an ice cream bar and maybe a bunch of little pastries?" Diego nods. "Any special requests?" He asks us. I shake my head. "Not really. All I know is I want red velvet and chocolate cupcakes and then the cake we want to be 4 tiered, the colors are white and gold so try to use that in the icing." I said. Diego jots all our directions down. "Any specifications for the pastries, cake flavor or ice cream flavors?" Cole shakes his head. "Nope that's all up to you." He nods. "And the deadline for all of this is?" "October 29." He nods. "Alright I can do that. Thank you boys for this, I'll make sure that everything tastes great." He says. I chuckled. "Doesn't it always?" We both gave him a hug before heading out.
