It felt like forever that we waited for the helicopter to come. Fifteen minutes. Fifteen whole minutes that I sat there motionless, tears streaming down my face, not letting go of Justin's lifeless hand.

Everything from then on was one big, frantic blur. From Justin being rushed into the helicopter, to being quickly transported to the hospital, and being raced into an emergency room.

Now, we waited. I had cried until there were no tears left, holding onto Marcus as he secured me in his arms. Neither one of us made a noise as we sat there, in the hall of the hospital, waiting.

"Do you want a cup of coffee, or anything?" Marcus finally spoke, his voice was quiet and low.

My voice was gone; It had escaped with my tears. I lifted my head up from where it was resting on his chest and simply nodded, sitting up.

He arose, releasing me from his arms, and walked down the hall toward the coffee machine. I watched as he walked, slow and stiff, as if he was emotionless.

I sat alone, taking in my surroundings properly for the first time; the walls were bare and white, the floor too. The lights, blindingly bright, so bright I had to look away because of the headache they gave me. And the hall, thin and narrow, but wide enough for patients to be rushed up and down.

"There you go." Marcus came back sooner than I expected, handing me my cup, the standard brown cup.

"Thanks." I croaked, taking it.

I ignored the heat touching my lips and invading my body, for without it, I questioned if I was actually alive, if this was just a dream. I felt the liquid burn through my body, reminding me that I was in fact living, and this was real life.

"He's been in there a long time." Marcus' husky voice pierced the air, as his eyes focused straight ahead, unblinking.

"I know." I looked down at my cup.

"Are you okay?" He finally turned to me, his eyes fixed on the side of my face.

"I should be the one asking if you're okay." I focused my eyes on his tired, bloodshot pair.

"I'm fine." He moved his eyes away from mine.

"Marcus." His eyes remained on the floor. "Look at me."

He shook his head, refusing, as a tear left his eye, followed by another, and another. Marcus collapsed onto me and broke down. Never had I seen him like this before, and it hurt. The happy, funny, smiling guy I was so used to being with was gone completely as his tears fell softly onto my shirt, making their way through and onto my skin.

"I'm just- scared." He managed between sobs. "He's- he's my older brother. And, I can't -."

"Sh. Nothing's going to happen to him." I reassured, gently stroking his hair, and rubbing his back.

"Hi, are you here for a -." A nurse approached us, pausing and looking down at her clipboard. "Mr..Justin Bieber?"

"Yes." I replied, as Marcus lifted his head.

"That was quite an accident he had. He suffered some serious damage, but we've managed to get the worst of it under control, and he's in a stable condition now. He's very lucky, all he's been left with is a broken wrist and fractured ankle. You're able to go and see him. He's in room 106."

"Thank you so much."

Marcus and I jumped up, walking briskly down the hall, scanning every room for number 106.

"Here it is."

I stepped forward, carefully pushing the door open, letting the sound of the beeping machinery escape into the hall. Slowly, I entered, seeing Justin in the bed straight away. He was awake, and sitting up.

"Hi." I whispered, going over and kissing his cheek.

"Hey there." He smiled weakly.

Marcus and I sat down on the chairs either side of the bed.

"Didn't think you'd get rid of me that easy, did you?" Justin grinned, as Marcus hugged him.
