Chapter Twenty Five
Crawford Collins’ POV
It’s been a week since the day I left my family. I was just sitting in our couch as I started wondering how Stella is back there; I bet she’s so happy to be with Ryan again. I should be so happy for her but I’m not to be honest, I mean why would she get back with a guy who just cheated on her, that’s stupid. I mentally slapped myself; I came back here to forget about her why am I still thinking about her.
I shook my head as something made me come back to reality, someone’s knocking at our door. Without further ado, I stood up and opened the door.
“Hey baby!” Michelle came up gave me a quick peck in my cheek. Come on, I’m not in the mood today!
I let out a forced but warm smile and invited her in. “What up? Why are you here?”
“Aww. Don’t you like me to be here?” she pouted as she place her hands behind my neck.
“Er. Of course I do it’s just that I’m kinda tired and my body hurts.” I lied and sat down in the couch and she sat beside me. “Oh. Do you want me to massage you?” she offered and she started massaging my shoulder.
“No thank you Mich.” I mumbled under my breath and I heard her sigh. She didn’t say a word but just took the remote and turned the TV on. I sighed in relief when she did that, I thought she’ll get mad and walk away. I really want her to walk out but I think I needed someone to be with me for awhile to help me forget about what happened this summer.
I was trying to concentrate on what were watching but Michelle suddenly cuddled in my chest and it feels so uncomfortable but I just let her. Minutes had past and Michelle is still lying down in my chest and I can feel myself falling asleep until someone barged in the apartment.
“Uhm. Er. Are we interrupting something?” Karisma asked with the keys in her hand. The whole family stared at Mich and I while we also stared back at them.
“Um. Hi!” mom waved her hand and I suddenly realized that they’re home. A wide smile appeared in my when I saw them, they saved me from Michelle. Michelle sat up straight fixed her hair while I stood up and walked towards my family.
“Let me help you guys with this.” I said and picked mom’s bag and looked up at them “Thank goodness you are guys are home.” I mouthed them and the all chuckled. I went to my mom and dad’s room and they followed me.
“Been having fun with Michelle?” Chris asked me with a grin.
“No!” I snapped. “I feel like puking every time she flirts with me. I mean not that I don’t like her it’s just that I think she’s trying to get in my pants and I’m feeling so uncomfortable.”
“Then why did you ask her out?” Chris asked and furrowed his brow.
“I wasn’t the one who asked her out! She did! And I agreed because she really wants to help me and that was the biggest mistake I’ve ever done so far.” I sighed in frustration.
“Then break up with her.” Dad suggested.
“I can’t. I don’t know how and I also think I really need someone right now to help me out so let’s just see if it clicks.” I muttered.
“I miss Stella already.” I heard Kirsten mumble and I shot her glare and shook my head.
I went out of the room and went back to Michelle who was still sitting up straight watching tv. I waited for the rest of the family to go out so I can introduce them to her. “Sorry about that.” I apologized to her for leaving her alone.
