Chapter Twenty Six

I was in the middle of my dream when I heard my phone ring. I checked the time and it’s just 7:00 in the morning, I freaking school. School started 2 weeks ago and I think this will be the worst school year for me because I still didn’t get over Crawford, seriously. I always regret all the wrong decisions I made when I they said Crawf left and I’m still a bit mad at him right now because he didn’t even say goodbye.

I leisurely stood up and did my usual routine, took a shower brush my teeth and fix my hair. After wearing my clothes and shoes, I went to my parent’s room to get the money they left for me and Spencer before they go to work and then ran downstairs for breakfast.

“Since your birthday gift from mom and dad didn’t arrive yet, wanna drive their birthday gift for me when I turned 16?” Spencer said as he took his car keys out of his pocket and raised it up high. I grinned at him and snatched his car keys from him and stood up. “Get ready! Vin Diesel’s gonna hit the road!”

He laughed as we ran outside, into his car and buckled our seatbelts up. I started the engine and before I could drive, I winked at him and he let out a chuckle. The car ride to the school was so dope because Spencer and I got too hyper. When we arrived in school, Spencer and I went out of the with our hands in our stomach because it started ache because we were laughing to hard.

I locked his car and tossed him his car keys and he caught it perfectly.

I hope today will be a good day. I heard the first bell rang and rushed to where Megan I can meet since we both have the same class for this morning. When I spotted her, I didn’t utter a single word but grabbed her hand and ran before the second bell rings.

Today was just like the other days, go to class, take a break, go back to class, hang out with some friends for a while, go home, eat dinner, go to room and stare at the ceiling and think about how stupid I am last summer and sleep. Yeah that’s my life.

When Rachelle dropped me off my house, I was confused why mom and dad are home, I thought they have work?

“Mom, dad, what are you doing here?” I asked and they turned their attention to me. “Don’t you have work?”

“It’s our off today.” Dad replied.

“Where we’re you this morning then?”

“We went somewhere.” Mom said. “Where’s your brother by the way? We need to tell you something.”

“He said that he’ll take Zoe out on a date again. What is it? You can tell it to me first.”

“It’s a gift. Surprise gift for you and your brother so we want to tell you both at the same time.” Dad said.

“Surprise gift? You just gave me an expensive gift when I turned 16. I think it’s too much.” I told them as I grabbed some my poptarts in the counter.

“Let’s talk about it later when your brother’s here.” Mom said as she took a sip in her cup of coffee.

“I’ll just up to my room then and rest for a bit. Call me when Spencer’s home.”

Both of them nodded and I ran to my room. I was scrolling through my home page on twitter when I read a girl’s tweet that’s been retweeted by Crawf “@asfksdj: OMG! Crawford and Michelle looks so perf together! #Michford I ship it!”

I groaned at the tweet and rolled my eyes. MICHFORD. Seriously! What kind of ship name is that? Ugh! I locked my phone and munched some poptarts and rolled in my bed. I wonder what will happen if Crawford was the one who asked me to be his girl first. Will I be happy right now? I buried my face in my pillow and remembered how stupid I am when someone barged in my room. Mom, dad and Spence. Well, I didn’t know the talk will be held here.
