Chapter 28

Chapter Twenty Eight 

“Crawford?”

My heart started to beat faster and I think it’s about to break my rib cage. I stared at him like I just saw a ghost or an unknown creature or something. I feel like the world stopped for awhile, dangit stop being cheesy Stella! Just act normal and smile. I smiled at him and I can feel my face turning red and my whole body feeling hot. It’s so cold in here how the heck do I feel hot?

“Hey Stella! Spencer! How are you guys?” I flinched when I heard his voice again but thank goodness my brother spoke up.

“Hey man! We’re fine, it’s been awhile.” Crawf and Spencer chuckled Spencer pulled him for a pound hug.

“And Stella, what’s up?” Crawford asked me but I think I froze again until someone came up and unfroze me.

“Stella? Spencer? Is that you guys?” Karisma said running towards us as I stood up and promptly pulled her into a hug. “Yes, it’s us. I missed you.” I spoke indistinctly making our hug tighter and pulled off.

“I missed you too.” She replied but I didn’t say no more but jut shot her a friendly smile.

“What? No hugs for me?” Crawford interrupted and as usual, I flinched but immediately found an excuse why not to hug him, of course it’s my time to play hard to get, even though he’s dating someone.

“Why should I? You didn’t even say goodbye before you left us.” I said and I can feel that my brother’s and Crawford’s siblings eyes are all in us but I just ignored it because, THIS IS MY MOMENT BRAH!

“Aww! I missed you too!” Crawford and grabbed me for a hug causing my heart to jump up and down, dammit I think my ribs are broken. My arms are just swinging until I felt them crawling at Crawford’s back hugging him back and I felt Crawf made it tighter. Butterflies in my stomach.

“I missed you too.” I whispered in his ear and even though I can’t see his face, I feel like he frowned and myeyes started to gather tears that was about to roll but I stopped them and pulled the hug off. I looked back at him and smiled weakly and so did he. I don’t know what’s happening but I feel like it’s a bit weird when we hugged and I told him that I missed him.

Karisma and I took a seat when I saw someone walking towards us and placed her arms around Crawford’s neck “Hey babe!”

Well, I’m guessing she’s Michelle. I looked at her from head to toe and to be honest, she is hot but a bit slutty, in my opinion.

“And who are they baby?” she asked Crawford. Baby? YUCK!

“Oh remember the guys that we told you about when we spent summer in MIA?” Chris told her and she nodded. “Their name is Spencer and Stella.” Chris added pointing who’s who.

“Hi Spencer!” she looked down at Spencer with a warm smile and gestured to me “Stel-laaa.” She said with a weird grin and it scared me. “And guys, this is Michelle, C-crawford girlfriend.” Chris stuttered.

 “It’s nice to meet you two.” Michelle said with a warm smile.

Spencer and I didn’t say a thing but we smiled politely though. I faced front and looked at Kirsten and Chris who’s sitting in front of us when I heard someone whining. “Babe! I feel so cold!” I heard Michelle whine with her annoying high pitched tone.

I looked back at them and I can see Crawford removing his jacket. I glanced at Michelle from head to toe again and faced Chris and Kirsten “How wouldn’t she feel cold when she’s wearing shorts and a shirt without jacket? Didn’t she know she’s in Canada? AND IT’S FREAKING WINTER!” I whispered loudly.
