Trevor's POV

"How much farther do we have?" Willow complained. We have been walking for at least three hours now, and we are both getting tired.

"It says we are halfway there but it's getting dark. I think we should get some sleep," I explained.

Ok, I know this is weird because she's Noah's sister, but she really is pretty. I found it cute how she even thought of getting tampons. Heck, I pretty sure I forgot my deodorant. Crap!

"It's too risky sleeping on the ground. They might still be looking for us. We can sleep on a branch. They might not look up in a tree," she said. "You learned that from the Hunger Games, didn't you," I said letting out a little chuckle. "Maybe," she murmured.

We started climbing and finally made it to one of the highest branches after what felt like forever. I was lost in my own thoughts as we settled down. She sat on a branch and I did the same on another. We sat on separate branches, backs facing each other in silence until she spoke.

"You know what's ironic? I woke up today and thought my day was going to be perfect. Now look at us," she said. "Ya, I never thought I'd be here right now," I answered. We were silent for a moment until I heard her voice again.

"Is it weird that I'm starting to believe what those guys said? I mean, we are in all of those pictures, I had that freaky vision, and you might actually have super strength. Wow, that sounds tacky," she said. I could tell she was nervous about all of this due to her shaky voice.

"No, I get it. I think I might believe it too. I guess I just don't want to," I told her in deep thought. There was yet again awkward silence that surrounded us. I couldn't help but think about what life would be like now. Then it hit me, and hard. My parents don't even know where I am. Let alone that I might never see them again.

The thought got too intense so I dismissed it from my head, only to hear the sweet voice that I must rely on from now on. "God, the stars are beautiful," Willow said with a sigh. "Ya, but nothing's as pretty as you," I didn't know I said it until the words were already out of my mouth.

I don't know where that sudden outburst came from. I didn't even know I thought that. I can't have a crush on her. Can I? I had a feeling she probably blushed and the thought of that brought a grin on my face.

"Crap! I didn't even get the answer Mrs. Daisy was about to say. That would be been one last question I have to do on tonight's homework," she said in defeat. "Wow, that's what you're thinking about right now?" I asked in disbelief. "Whatever, I'm going to sleep now," she said.

Somehow I managed to fall asleep but was soon woken up. I guess Willow was up too because I could hear the hum of her music. "Do you mind if I listen?" I asked. "Uh, sure," she answered.

I walked over to her branch and sat next to her as she handed me an earbud. Hey There Delilah was playing and I guess I wasn't expecting that. "I honestly thought you'd be listening to One Direction or something," I said as we sat with our legs dangling off the branch.

"Oh, I have some of them too, but I prefer 5 Seconds of Summer more. We can listen to them if you want. I just have my sad playlist going right now," she quickly rambled. "No, this is good. I like it," I told her.

I turned and looked her in the eyes but she quickly jerked her head down. I have to admit, she was pretty cute. Ew! What am I thinking?
