NOAH'S POV

Flat on the ground. Both of them. Trevor and Willow were nearly lifeless when I asked: "What do we do now?" I looked up to Derek and Ally with an expectant face.

"The least we could do is make them comfortable," Derek said. Although he went to grab Willow, I beat him to it, not completely trusting him. It could've been the protective brother inside of me or the fact that he was a stranger, but there was something about him that I just didn't like.

Once we got the two on the bed, we settled into another awkward silence. Our exchange was brief but we decided to get some sleep and make a plan in the morning.

The night was absolute torture. All I could think about was what the hell was going on. I didn't quite understand the whole time-travel thing but then again, neither did the time travelers. It also worried me that my parents so easily lied to me. Did they really think I was so nieve to believe that Willow was just simply at a friends house? Why did they lie to me in the first place? All this led me to assume that they were hiding something.

The ringing of an alarm clock that was most likely left on from the previous guests broke me from my thoughts. Both Derek and Ally woke up and looked at me with confused expressions.

"Well don't just sit there, turn the damn thing off," Derek huffed at me with a hand pointing in the direction of the object. I did so, staying quiet, not sure if speaking was a good idea.

"It's six o'clock. I think we need to figure out what to with Sleeping Beauty and Sleeping Beauty 2.0," Ally said standing up.

"I agree," I said. "But I think the first thing we need to think about is whether we want to leave now, or wake them up -if we can- and make a plan with them."

"I don't know if leaving is such a good idea," Derek said defensively.

"Why?"

"Well I just feel like that lady that checked us in is gonna try to kidnap us," he explained.

"I get that, but if she is, aren't we doing her a favor by staying voluntarily?" I asked as I rubbed my jaw.

"I agree with Noah. I have a bad feeling too, but if we can make it out, then we need to, " Ally said.

"Ok, well, I think that we are safest if we keep moving. I don't know what traveling will do to Willow and Trevor but-" I said as Derek cut me off.

"But what!? This is your sister and your best friend we are talking about. If we don't know what will happen to them, why would we do it? We'd be putting their lives in danger for what?- a road trip?"

"Are you forgetting that that lady literally took a sample of my sister's blood? We don't know why she took it or what she's planning on doing with it. If you want to stay so badly the least you could do is figure out what that woman wants with us. Until then I think it is best if we plan on leaving. Can we at least agree on that," I stated firmly.

"I think that's the best we can do right now," Ally said in a tone that sounded like it was her that needed to convince Derek.

"Ya, that's fine. We do need to find out what she wants. Is there anything else? If not I'll go try to find out anything I can," Derek said.

"I think that's it. I'll walk around to find a good way out of here. Derek, you find out what they want with Willow's blood."

"I'll stay here and watch over them just in case they wake up," Ally said as she walked over to Willow and Trevor. I was glad she was willing to take care of them. Unlike Derek, she seemed nice and caring. I liked that about her.

Derek and I make our way into the hallway, leaving Ally to herself. It was awkward and quiet between us at first but then he spoke.

"So what's up with Willow and Trevor?" he asked.

I looked at him confused and asked, "What do you mean?"

"Well, like, are they together or something?" This came as a surprise to me although I kind of always knew they had a crush on each other. I didn't like how they felt about each other but they never did anything about so I thought I had nothing to worry about.

"Not that I know of. If they are then I'm going to have to kick Trevor's ass," I said as we took a right turn towards the stairs. He didn't say anything and just kept walking.

We split up once we made it to the first level. He went toward the staff room while I scoped out the perimeter.

There wasn't much outside other than the greenhouse. It changed a lot since I was last here as a kid. For starters, this place was a single house, not a hotel. It was weird to think of what this place once was to me. Willow and I were about nine when we found it. Our parents were so mad that we wandered off but it was so worth it.

I reminisced about that day as I continued to walk around. That's when I heard a scream that gave me chills.
