"Cat? Cat Noir?" I feel someone shaking my shoulder. "Wake up!"

I open my eyes to see Ladybug over me. "Wha?"

Her features are strained with worry. God she was cute. Her expression melted into a look of relief. "Thank goodness you're ok."

She hugged me and I inhaled her scent smiling. Maybe I should pass out again.

"What happened?" I asked her when she pulled away.

She averted her eyes. Wait. Why was her face turning red? Was she blushing?!

"Nothing. You were infected by Dark Cupid's arrow." She said still not looking me in the eye. "I saved you with my lucky charm and now everything's back to normal."

"Ok then can I tell yo—" I started to say but she cut me off.

"I have to go." She swung away on her yo-yo before I could finish.

I deflate.

Some Valentines Day this was.

Anger bubbled up inside me.

Why?

What had happened?!

Why was today so cruddy?!

I transformed back behind the bushes and punched a tree.

"ARRGGGG." I grunted and fell to my knees.

-MEANWHILE-

"A boy is having a bad day, wishing he could reverse time." Hawk Moth said to himself. "Now my little akuma, you've got another victim today. Infect this boy's anger and akumatize him!"

I pulled out Chloe's picture. This was the only thing that I got today and it was such a vain gift.

A black butterfly flew down to me and landed on the picture.

"From now on your name is Timekeeper." A strange but familiar voice spoke to me in my head. "I will let you relive today your way, but you must bring me Ladybug's and Cat Noir's Miraculous'!

"Of course Hawk Moth." I find myself saying as a dark cloud transforms me into the Timekeeper.

"Now go!" The voice cries, and my body reluctantly obeys.

I zip back to this morning and see myself in my bed. The other me wakes up exactly like I did this morning. I watch him and he doesn't notice me.

I smirk and follow him around.

I clear the traffic.

I make sure that the teacher doesn't give him a detention.

I push him away from the edge of the curb before he gets splashed by mud.

"Now, it's almost time." The voice whispers. "Get me their miraculous'!"

I nod and sneer.

My transformation is hidden to the voice.

I watch and see Cat Noir jumping from the rooftops and I creep up behind him, but he jumps on before I can catch him.

I race after him into the park. And see him get hit with the arrow.

Before the poison gets to him, I hear him say; "M'lady, I lo-" Then his expression changes into one of malice and he snarls. "-oathe you."

Ladybug looks hurt but she quickly recovers before fighting Dark Cupid and Cat Noir.

She grabs Cat Noir and gets on her hands and knees, kneeling over him.

"What are y-" Cat Noir growls before Ladybug presses her lips to his.

I snap out of my trance. "I can't do it Hawk Moth." I say before forcing my fingers to tear Chloe's picture.

The voice snarls before I turn back into myself and find myself kneeling in the same spot as I was in before I transformed.

I bring my fingers to my lips and sigh.

She must think I'm a jerk.

I go home and change into new clothes before returning to school. I find Ms. Mendeleiev yelling at Marinette and I sneak into my seat from behind her.

"Marinette! You can join Mr. Agreste for detention! You know I hate for you to be late!"

Sorry Marinette.

She sulked as she walked past me to her seat.

Aww. She looked kind of cute.

Wait.

No.

I can't fall for two girls.

My first kiss was with Cat Noir.

Ugh.

It could have been worse.

He was more of a little brother than the boyfriend type.

Oh well.

I sigh. If only it was with Adrien...

"Ok class, pass up your essay on your favorite animal."

I look over Adrien's shoulder to see he wrote about cats. Huh.

I wrote about ladybugs obviously.

I pass my report to Adrien and he chuckles when he sees it.

"What?" I ask him.

"Nothing. Nothing at all..." He trails off and stares out into the distance grinning.

Wow.

He was so cute!

The bell rang and I watched everyone leave until it was only Marinette and me left.

"I'm going to run an errand, don't cause any trouble." Ms. Mendeleiev said as she walked out of the classroom.

I turned in my seat to face Marinette and her face looked slightly pink.

"Are you ok?" I asked her.

She nodded frantically and rummaged through her bag. She stopped when she found what she was looking for. "Here."

She held out a box wrapped in pink and tied with a red ribbon.

I take it and look up at her blushing face. "Can I open it?"

She nods, this time slower and I untie the ribbon and open the box.

I find two black gloves in the box and I look up at her surprised. Did she know about me being Cat Noir? "How did..."

She blushed. She was getting cuter by the second.

Snap out of it Adrien!

"I just never saw you wearing gloves and your hands looked a bit cold so I made them for you." She said sheepishly.

"Wow. Your amazing Marinette." I searched for her signature and find the gold stitching on the inside of the cuff of the glove that spelled Marinette in a delicate calligraphy. "You even signed it..."

She smiles. "I'm glad you like them."

She's so...

...radiant.

I hear the doorknob turn and I quickly turn to face the front of the room. "Thank you." I say before the teacher walks in.

"You're welcome." She whispers.

I admire the gloves for the rest of detention. They're so soft. I burry my face in them and take a deep breath.

I draw my eyebrows together, confused.

I smell the gloves again.

Is this a mistake?

These gloves...

...Ladybug?
