Early on a Thursday morning, Jinyoung wakes up to a scream, it's high pitched and blood curdling. He flings himself out of bed, dressed in just his pajama shorts and sprints out the door, he turns the corner heading for the basement, a thousand equally terrible scenarios running through his head.

Please please please be alright, he begs the air.

"Jinyoung, help!" Yugyeom grabs him from behind before he can descend the stairs and drags him into the kitchen only letting him go when they've rounded the island.

"What? What is it?" Jinyoungs still panicking looking around, confused as hell, for the body. But there isn't one. Or at least not a human body.

The huge spider makes another dash up the cabinets, making it up onto the counter. Jinyoung sighs as Yugyeom squeals, trying to hide his giant body behind Jinyoung.

"Are you kidding me?" He whimpers, grabbing a glass out of the cupboard. Easily, he sets the glass down over the spider, who immediately runs at the side of it, colliding uselessly. "Yugyeom, I thought someone was hurt"

"I could've been! Look at that thing!" Yugyeom yells before Jinyoung slaps a hand over his mouth.

"Keep your voice down!" He whisper shouts. "It's a miracle you didn't wake up the whole house, do you want Mark and Jaebum down here? This early? Is today the day you wish to die?"

Yugyeom shakes his head widely and Jinyoung lets go, assured that he won't yell again. Jinyoung rubs at his eyes, oblivious to Yugyeom coming up on him.

"Thanks for saving me, Jinyoungie" Yugyeom whispers in his ear, wrapping his arms around him, planting a loving kiss on his cheek. Jinyoung hugs him back. With the adrenaline quickly leaving him, he feels ten times more tired than before, so he slumps against him. Yugyeom chuckles "I'm sorry I woke you"

"Its okay" Jinyoung mutters, yawning against Yugyeom's chest.

In a show of muscle, he scoops Jinyoung up, ignoring his pleas to be let down, and carries him back up to his room. He lays him down on the bed, hovering over him for a second before moving away.

"Go back to sleep" Yugyeom whispers, closing the door on his way out. He goes to his own room, abandoning the simple glass of water he wanted in favor of never seeing that spider again.

Once the sun has risen Jinyoung wakes back up, feeling the interruption to his sleep hard. He stretches his arms, yawning as he does, before slipping his feet into his slippers and padding down the hallway to start breakfast.

He yawns again, forcing his eyes closed as he turns, on memory, into the kitchen. A hand on his chest stops him. He opens his eyes, looking over to find Jackson in the archway, staring blankly into the kitchen.

"Why is there a spider on the counter? Why is there a spider under a glass on the counter?" Jackson asks, eyes turning fearful as he looks to Jinyoung for answers. Jinyoung chuckles; Jackson can be so dramatic.

"Yugyeom found it, very early this morning, I'm surprised you didn't hear him scream" Jinyoung moves his hand away, entering the kitchen to get rid of the spider.

"Was it high pitched?" Jackson asks, entering the kitchen but keeping away from the counter.

"Very, blood curdling, actually" Jinyoung answers wiggling his fingers for effect. He grabs a piece of paper to slide it under the cup but stops, staring down at the spider. It's big, the paper might not even hold it.

"What's wrong?" Jackson asks, straining to peak over Jinyoung's shoulder from a safe distance.

"The paper might not hold it..." Jinyoung presses his lips together in a thin line, trying to come up with a solution.
