They decide right then and there to move Youngjae and BamBam upstairs. Of course there is the question of whose room they should stay in. Ultimately, they decided to ask the boys about it, if they even wanted to move upstairs and share a room with someone new.

They agree instantly, on the condition that they can stay in Jinyoung's room. Jaebum tries not to show his disappointment that Youngjae didn't choose his room, hes not surprised, but a little sad. They figured that would be the easy part, though.

How do you tell a kid his parents paid to have him kidnapped and possibly killed and the only reason he survived his because his parents creepy friend also paid to have him kidnapped?

Exactly.

"Youngjae..." Jaebum begins, pausing as Youngjae looks up at him from his chair at the table. " There's something we wanted to tell you, that we think you should know" He looks to the others to ready himself. He really doesn't know what he'll do if Youngjae cries, hes always been terrible with that. "We have reason to believe that your parents paid to have you have you kidnapped and possibly killed by a man named Kris, we aren't sure, but it seems likely"

"Oh" Youngjae slowly lowers hes eyes back to the table. He's not even surprised. If anything, hes surprised it didn't happen sooner. "Yeah, that... that makes sense, they never really..."

He hiccups, the tears already rolling down his cheeks, hes not surprised, not in the slightest, so why is he crying? BamBam grabs onto him, crying too. To think, he could have lost his best friend so easily.

"Hey..." Jaebum reaches for him and then pulls back, when he does, Jinyoung starts towards Youngjae but Jackson stops him, Jaebum can figure it out. "Don't cry...um" He reaches for Youngjae again, finally wrapping one arm around him.

If it wasn't for Youngjae turning and grabbing onto him, the comforting would have ended there. Carefully, he puts his other arm Youngjae to support him as Youngjae sobs into his shirt, BamBam still clutching his back.

Phase one of Jaebum's plan complete. If this was going to work they would need Youngjae and BamBams help, and that means making sure they are on their side.

Jaebum isn't too worried about them not wanting to help. They seem to adore Jinyoung if not everyone else so it would seem that anything to help Jinyoung they would do.

"Should we bring their beds to Jinyoung's room?" Yugyeom asks.

"Just one, please" BamBam requests it but it sounds like begging through the tears.

Jackson and Yugyeom head downstairs as the muscles to carry the bed. Jinyoung finally approaches the huddle and gently pulls BamBam off of Youngjae to kneel in front of him.

"Are you hungry?" Jinyoung asks, smiling and wiping the tears away from BamBam cheeks. BamBam nods, reaching down for a hug. "I'll make you some omelettes then, do you like coffee?"

"There's coffee? Why haven't you ever given me coffee?" BamBam tries to act upset, just to lighten the mood, but it doesn't come out right. Jinyoung chuckles anyway, standing up.

"Do you want to help?"

BamBam nods again, harshly wiping away the rest of his tears while he follows Jinyoung. Youngjaes sobs has died down to whimpers, he is still clinging tightly to Jaebum. They are on the floor, Youngjae fully in his lap, Jaebum holding him close, face buried in his hair.

BamBam has never cooked before, his father always did and never thought to teach him, as BamBam hadn't shown much interest in it anyways. He wishes he had, he feels so useless next to Jinyoung as he skillfully chops vegetables.

He picks up an egg, his only task is to crack them and put them in the bowl. He taps it against the counter lightly, but it doesn't crack at all, he uses a little more force and again nothing happens. It's just an egg, does he really need to use that much force? He smacks it against the side of the bowl this time and the egg splits completely in half, falling half into the bowl and half onto the counter.

Jinyoung stops chopping, staring at BamBam, his face blank. BamBam waits for him to get angry, although he can't imagine it.

Jinyoung has to turn away, afraid of laughing right in BamBams face, but he can't help it, it's so damn funny.

"I knew it, I'm no good at this" BamBam pouts, ears turning red from embarrassment.

"Here, like this" Jinyoung takes another egg and shows him how, somehow managing to keep a straight face.

By the time they have the omelettes mixed and ready to be cooked, Youngjae has fallen back asleep still cradled in Jaebum's arms.

"I'm going to tell Namjoon about Kris" Jinyoung suddenly says, expecting Jaebum to be angry, but he just nods.

"That's a good idea, if Kris is attacking him too, he should know why, actually, let me tell him"

Jinyoung nods too, sure Jaebum has a reason for wanting to do it himself. He pours the eggs into the pan, watching as Jaebum stands, Youngjae bringing Youngjae up with him.

"I'm going to take him to your room" Jaebum says, leaving before Jinyoung has the chance to respond.

When Jaebum gets upstairs, Yugyeom and Jackson are just making the bed, but Jaebum puts Youngjae on Jinyoung's bed anyway, wrapping him up in Jinyoung's blankets.

"How do you think we'll find Mark?" Yugyeom whispers.

"I'm not sure" Jaebum replies, giving Youngjae a light kiss on the forehead before motioning the other two out of the room with him. "But I want to see if we can access the registry for the clinics in the area"

"You don't really think he went, do you?"

"I want to be sure" Jaebum pulls out his phone and sends a somewhat vague text to Namjoon.

Kris thinks you have someone he wants. Be careful, he might try to hurt you guys again.

He gets a quick reply, just a thumbs up emoji, and laughs. It reminds him of the past, when he was first able to afford phones and this was the literal first text Namjoon sent to him. He had told Namjoon he hated him for it and to never text him again. Jaebum decided right then that he didn't like texting, and he's never really gotten over it.

Jinyoung could get used to having a cooking companion, BamBam doesn't say much, but his presence is comforting. Most of the stuff Jinyoung does everyday is done alone.

Jaebum watches them from the hall, his head rested against the wall. He thinks about Mark again, would BamBam ever be able to be around Mark? Probably not, and Jaebum doesn't blame him. In fact the only two people he blames are Mark, of course, and himself.

How did he ignore all this stuff? He doesn't know, it's seems impossible now. As impossible as his sweet love turning into this Monster.

He wants Mark back, no doubt about it, but what exactly is he risking for that? He wonders if the question will keep him up at night.

"Jae-Jaebum?" BamBam calls his name quickly gathering his attention. "Are you hungry?"

"No, I already ate, thank you" He adjusts his stance, recrossing his arms.

"Do you want some coffee then?" Jinyoung asks.

"No... I'm fine"

"Then what were staring at?" Jinyoung laughs, looking around on the counter.

"Oh, nothing, I was just thinking, sorry"

Jinyoung doesn't respond, furrowing his eyebrows. That's the second time today Jaebum as apologized over nothing. Finally Jinyoung opens his mouth to ask him to sit with them anyways, but Jaebum cuts him off.

"I've got some work to do, I'll be in the office"
Jaebum waits for Jinyoung to nod before turning around and heading into his office, closing the door quietly behind him. First step is to find where Mark even is.

I know... I suck.... it's been like a whole month.
I moved and am very busy but I want to this story mostly done before I get even busier come August. Sorry the chapter is kind of short.
