Chapter 5

"Hey, ready to go home Azalea?" Luke said.

"Yeah" I said with a smile.

As I gave the boys good byes and thank you's, I started to think about why Luke really brought me here. It was obvious they were really good.

Does he like me? My heart fluttered at the thought. What the heck? Oh my god do I like him?!? Shut up subconscious.

During the drive home, Luke wouldn't shut up either.

"Did you like us? like our music?"

"ye-"

"oh good. i knew you would."

"oh you kn-"

"but honestly I think that we're a bit on the rookie side ya know, like were still new. what do you think?"

"well-"

"But our music is still pretty good. I think we could still make it."

Thats pretty much how the rest of the car ride went. But he was happy so I let him talk.

"Okay..Bye Luke. Thanks for the ride." I said.

"Yeah, it's no problem Azalea." he said with a smile. "Uhh...see you tommorow?"

I giggled and nodded. "Bye." I turned around going up the steps to the front door, as I heard his car leave.

I didn't realize that there was a Mak there until it was too late.

"BOO!!!" she screamed

"AAAGGHH!!!!" I was startled. Then I heard laughing and turned around.

"Oh my gosh! You scared the unicorns out of me!" I said and she gave me a

puzzled look.

"unicorns?" she asked.

"It's a Michael thing." I said chuckling at the memories. when I look back at her she gave me a stern look. "ahem!" she said holding out my backpack.

"Oh my gosh! I totally forgot! Im sorry!" I apologized.

"I'll forgive you...if you tell me what you were doing with Luke" she said smirking.

I hesitated.

"Let's go inside first." I suggested.

I opened the door as she followed me in. I heard the T.V. talking about some museum.

Then my mom shouted "Hey Azalea!!! I want you to watch this!"

Of course being the history teacher, she would be watching that.

"Mak is here so I can't!" I shouted to her.

"Oh okay! If you guys are hungry help yourselves to the kitchen." she said, as Mak and I raced up the stairs.

When I closed the door, Mak immdeiately wanted her answer.

"Well?" she asked.

"Okay, so someone rang the doorbell and I thought it was you but it was actually Luke and I asked what he was doing here and he asked if I wanted to listen to his band and so I said yeah and he brought me to one if his band mates' house, Michael where I got the unicorn reference, and they were really good. Really weird but good all the same."

"Soo... you forgot about me? Clearly, seeing that I waited for like 2 hours in front of your house."

"It's only.." I checked my phone. "6:17. Didn't you hear my mom come in?" I said.

"No. I went out to eat and came back but I didnt see her car."

"Didn't you ring?!?" I questioned.

"Ring? Oh yeah! That would've been a good idea." she said her face full of thought.

"I knew I was the smart one in our friendship." I said laughing.

"Whatever, just one thing, how did Luke find out where you live?" she asked me.

"Ermm.. I never though of it." I said kinda uncomfortable with the stalker idea I have in my head.

"STALKER MUCH??!!!?" Mak started yelling and laughing.

"Doesn't matter he's a hot stalker." she said.

"Hey back off sistah!" I said laughing until I realized what I had just said.

"Oh my God! Did you just say to back off?" Mak asked.

"I don't know what I was saying. I..I....I..umm I dont know." I muttered looking at the floor.

"Do you..like Luke?" Mak asked.

I thought about it hard for a second.

Even though I barely know him, he seemed like a really sweet guy and I really like the way his blue eyes light up when he smiles, and when he got really flustered asking me to watch his band practice.

His dimples were so deep I just wanted to squish his face and I thought it was hilarious how we would look if we were to hug because he was so tall but I wanted to cuddle with him anyways and I kinda felt weird whenever Mak said he was hot and....

I looked up at Mak.

"Yeah. I like Luke."

sorry I havent updated. I have finals to study for:( but on the bright side I almost have 100 reads! YAY! CAKE FOR EVERYONE!!
