"Bzzz. Bzzzzzz. BZZZZZZ."
I reached my hand out of bed and grabbed my phone.
"Hello?" My voice cracked and I heard someone laughing on the other end.
"Hey Lea."
"Hi..uh..." I checked the caller. "Luke."
"What are you doing?"
"I'm in the shower."
"Can I see?"
"NO! I WAS JUST KIDDING DUDE!!"
"I know. Just wanted to wake you up."
"Ugh. What do you want?"
"Woah t
here. Someone's not a morning person."
"Shut up." I giggled.
"Anyways, I talked to management."
"What did they say?"
"Okay..well I can't tell you yet."
"Why not!?!"
"Well, they need to hold a meeting and stuff. You have to be there."
"Me?"
"Yeah, youuuuu."
"Why?"
"I don't know."
"Where is this "meeting" gonna be at?"
"Uh....."
"Luke?"
"I don't know if you can but they want you to fly over to London. Where we are."
"What?"
"They want you to fly-"
"I heard you."
"Oh. Um..yeah but if you like agree, they're gonna pay for everything."
"How long will I be there?"
"Three.....days."
"That's it? Just three days?"
"Yeah. Three days. Mhhmm."
"Well.....I guess I could."
"YAY!!!!!"
"ONLY! because I don't want to screw up your career."
"Okay. So, management is gonna buy the ticket and book a room for you. All you need to do is pack some stuff."
"How am I supposed to get the tickets? and what time is the flight?"
"I think one of the people who work there will have it. And the flight time would be.....11pm"
"Okay."
"Have fun on the flight."
"Will do."
"Bye."
"Bye.."

After the call, I did a couple errands to get the house ready while I was gone. I called my work and said that I wasn't feeling too good. So I'm off the hook until I "get better".
I packed a small suitcase. Just enough clothes for 3 days.
"Survival Checklist. Charger? Check. Phone? Check. Headphones? Check.....And I'm good."
I checked the time. 9:23 pm.
"Okay...Let's go!!"
I hopped into the car with all my bags and headed towards the airport.
