Chapter 9

Adrian

The banging on my apartment door made me jump out of my slumber and land flat on the floor... Fuck... I forgot I was on the sofa. I'm bloody bringing that sofa back as soon as possible because I didn't pay 10,000 for this hard piece of shit that I barely sleep on.

Groaning from the pain..., I got off my ass and checked the time.... it was 5:30 in the morning... who the he'll bangs on your door at this time....oh yeah could only be him... i swear I need to set clear boundaries for Vince cause clearly he has no fucking manners.

Approaching the door lazily I opened the door so the fucker can come in...... but that wasn't the case.  In front of me stood a short brunette holding a gun too my head.

Now this isn't the first time I have been held at gun point ....but this was the strangest and most unexpected one.

Slowly bringing my hands up I showed no emotions and held a cold icy stare while studying this brunette... I don't know but something about her made me feel I know her I just couldn't figure it out.

Her eyes held emotion I knew all too well rage and flaming fury. This girl had it out for me ... and I didn't even know what I did.

I knew this couldn't be Alfonso work as he brings his ladies undercover.... what if that was his new approach... I swear I am going to give that piece of shit a slow and long suffering death.

"Where is my sister?"

That brought me out of my mental trance... I was so confused! Who the hell was this girl.

" Listen here woman I don't know who you are and where you going with this but I need to worn you that terrible consequences will come with your action." I said in a calm voice that held a deadly promise.

Jerking the gun forward... tears welled in her eyes..  "shut up,I'm doing the taking.....I don't care what consequences I have to go through I just want my sister... I have been looking for her for years and I swear to god if you dear hurt my lil Tay ... I will murder your ass....

Realization hit me like a brick wall .... this girl was referring to Taliyah.. she called her Tay and now that I see it the have very similar features..... I never knew Taliyah had a sister.... Fuck I don't even know anything about her life.

"Answer me dame it!"

"Ok ok" I said as I waved my hand in surrender... this could get ugly fast and this was an open lead for me to see some of Taliyah's past and I wouldn't waste it for the world.
"I know who you talking about now... she is safe with me... I have taken her under my wing for protection"

At the mention of the the girl lowered the gun and bursted into tears... ok this got really awkward hella quick. What the hell was I surprise to do..... I suck at this bullshit comforting and I wasn't ready for a next session .... jeez I even preferred held at gun point again right now. Not knowing what to do I just stood there with an emotionless expression waiting for this women who claims to be Taliyah's sister to stop her emotional breakdown.

This felt like it went on for hours but it all stop when I heard her voice and my body went ridged.
"Adrian?"

Taliyah

"Adrian kiss me .... I need you right now, tell me that you are here for me."I said breathlessly. He stood above me portraying so much dominance that I would allow him to posses me as his.
I was his and he was mine.

He stroked my cheek passionately and stared at me with the most loving eyes. Once we were at the same level and only inches apart he whispered " always and forever"
And he crashed his lips onto mine ... his lips were in rhythm with mine and fireworks exploded everywhere within me.

The kiss held so much hunger.... feeling the high I passed my finger through his silky black hair.... he groaned at my actions and roamed his arms over my body until his hand landed on my ass and he gave it a tight squeeze.

I sucked in a harsh breath at his actions.. he only took that as an advantage to explore my mouth more ... I was on cloud nine and I didn't want to ever come back down.

Pulling apart for air he plastered passionate kisses all down my neck, sucking on a sensitive sport making my core yearn for need.

"Answer me dame it!"
Jumping from my slumber at the loud voice I realized that it was only just a dream but it felt so real. Covered in sweat I laid  on the bed wondering what the hell was up with me now a days. Feeling disgusted with my state I decided to take a quick shower.

Getting off the bed I stood I stood in shock at my appearance.... I was half naked with only my panties...what happened to me last night ... did I do the deed...was this actually not a dream... so many emotions swirled around me

Happiness, pain excitement but the mist dominant of them all was confusion.
Adrian was the only one who could clear my confusion and I had to face him whether I like it or not.., wrapping a robe I found in the bathroom I quickly forgot about my shower and went looking for Adrian.

As I came closer to the living room I could hear faint voices... it seems Adrian wasn't alone ... I hope he is with someone that he is related to because right now I was moving off of emotions I didn't know where I was headed.

As I entered the living room my heart stopped.. there stood the person I thought I would never see in my life.... someone I prayed to come save me day in and day out.... someone after a while I thought she was dead or maybe in the same situation as me.

My feeling went sky rocketing as the image before me tested at my soul .... there my sister stood with a gun in her hand talking to Adrian.

I could think straight ... what was she doing... is she trying to hurt me... is she setting up with Adrian no he would do that ... but why did she have a gun ... maybe she just is in a bad place and wants to see me

I am so tired of these maybe's ..... feeling my throats closing up on me I spoke the one word that could  make me feel at peace..... placing my arm on the wall to steady myself

I whispered "Adrian"
