"You really think you can last another year in the war?" Someone shouts across the table.

"We are wolves, we can heal a lot quicker than your motley crew." Another one hisses back

Everything and everyone was in chaos when I entered the room. I didn't think this meeting would turn out like it has, but right now I had a lot more power in me.

"ENOUGH!" I slam my hands on the table. "We are here to discuss a treaty and not discuss the lengths of the war. This is suppose to civil, but all I see are a bunch of men trying to prove who's got the bigger dick and ego. This treaty is for all of us, not just one kind. Now who has actually read the proposal?"

A hush comes across the room, as all eyes are on me. A few raise their hands saying they've read it and I shake my head at this meeting ever going right. A month into negotiations and things weren't going great. Constant arguments and constant battles to prove who's the better kind. I had enough, after all the time and effort I put in for making this treaty perfect, it wasn't got to result in anything.

"I've double and triple checked that this treaty is everything both our kinds can live by." I state, sitting at a table surrounded by humans and werewolves. "I've been writing this proposal and treaty for three years now. I've done my research and with the kind help of your staff they've helped me see things in a different light."

The gentleman at the head of the table looks at me, curiously. "Why do you think this treaty will work? What makes you think we will all want peace?"

"Dozens of surveys and talks with people. Research says that we will just want peace. This treaty will be beneficial for all parties. Not just one, or two but all. We use to live in harmony before, why can't that just be the same. We never killed unless provoked, we didn't kidnap anyone nor steal people away from their homes. We are peaceful creatures, General." I place my hands on the table.

"General Croft, might I say that this has so far been the most beneficial meeting we've had." The general at the other end leans forward, smiling. "And you can promise that everything is on the treaty like we've previously discussed?"

"Cross my heart and hope to die by the moon goddess. Your people have checked over my writings and proposals. Everyone just wants to come back alive and in one piece. We just want peace." I reassure him and look around the table, everyone nodding in agreement.

"I think I under estimated you, General." He stands up and starts to walk down the long table towards me. "When I found out who you were, I just assumed some social climbing fem-wolf wanting more than she could handle. But, I've been proven wrong. You're anything but that."

"Glad to see you've changed your mind." I raise an eyebrow. "I may be a she-wolf and I may not have many years in the army, but I've got a brain and I've been reading war strategies since I was little pup. That and I'm a lot smart than people think I am."

He chuckles. "That you are. I think we all under estimated you and this treaty. But I'm here, on behalf of all human kind, I would very much like to sign this treaty and get everyone home."

A huge smile on my face appears. "Anyone got a pen?"

"So, General," A voice from behind me spoke, "how does it feel to get that treaty signed?"
