Prolougue

Two years ago a group of scientist trying to find a cure for a new bio weapon they created made a mistake. They crossed two strands of a virus mutating them into a new disease. It seemed harmless at first but they soon found that exposure to it was deadly. If exposed you have twenty four hours before it kills you. It starts with a fever, then you begin to get weak and hallucinate, by that point your a goner. What they discovered next would change the world as we knew it, once dead the infected... came back.
But they were no longer the people we knew, they were flesh eating creatures who could only be stopped by a bullet to the brain. Those exposed to this disease started to spread it, and before anyone knew what to do it was too late. It had spread to far to fast. The government wanted to stop it before it got to bad so they sent out an evacuation to all the major cities. They were going to drop bombs. All that did was leave the ones like me who survived all that left with a world full of death and rubble.
One mistake... one mistake was all it took to destroy life as we knew it.
