Chapter 2

We arrive on a roof top in the middle of Central City, not far from Star Labs. I immediately see the people he has collected, knocked out on the roof, who could also join the team. I recognise them all as I have met them all one way or another. Either when I was with team arrow or when I came to team flash. I have been around.

Laying on the ground is Ray Palmer, Martin Stein, Jefferson Jackson, Sara Lance, Kendra Saunders and Carter Hall. As well as Mick Rory and Leonard Snart? Has my brother lost it?

"You brought criminals along?" I chuckle, "You really are desperate."

Rip doesn't say a thing as I sit down on the wall, watching them all slowly wake up. They sit up one by one and slowly get to their feet.

Leonard looks at Stein, "Stein? What the hell are you doing here?"

"I'm as Ignorant as you, for once." Stein Remarks.

"Where are we?" Sara asks.

I don't think any of them have noticed me or Rip yet. Maybe if I keep staring at them, they will feel eyes burning into the back of their head?

"Why don't you ask the dude who knocked us out and kidnapped us?" Jax exclaims, "British dude with the flashy things? Ring any bells?"

Suddenly Rip speaks up and they all look at him, "The names Rip Hunter, I'm from East London. Oh... and the future."

I chuckle, always so dramatic.

"Nice to meet you Rip." Mick says, reaching for his gun.

"Oh, while you were incapacitated, I may have tampered with your weapons." Rip explains, "Anyway... I've assembled you all because I need your help. The future of the world is in peril because of a man by the name of Vandal Savage."

Kendra and Carter look shocked and so am I. I swear we defeated that guy, stone dead.

"That can't be, we destroyed him." Carter says.

Kendra nods in agreement, "Yeah, the green arrow and the flash helped us do it."

Rip signs as he explains, "And there in lay the problem. Unless you or Mr Hall deliver the death blow, Savage can be restored from but a single cell."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Jax says, still confused.

Carter explains, "Vandal is immortal. Kendra and I reincarnate."

Sara nods, "Yeah, I've done that."

I sign standing up, "Rip can you get to the point?"

They all the notice me and stare at me like a ghost. Some haven't seen me in a while.

Leonard raises his eyebrows, "Mel?"

I smile, "Hello Snart, Rory and the rest of the gang. Anyway, please explain?"

Rip then begins to explain, "In the future, he will employ the evil he's perfected over his long life, and the power he has amassed throughout history to finally conquer the world. I've been tasked with assembling an elite team to stop him."

"The time masters?" He nods, "How?" I ask, going over to stand beside the rest of the team.

"To travel though time. To capture Savage before he grows into the monster he becomes."

He wants us to become heroes? And work for the time masters? The time masters? After what they did to me? He must be barking mad.

Leonard walks past Rip, "You have got the wrong guy. Hero ain't on my resume."
