And that night, she confronted him. She couldn't help it. Angie just had to tell him. His wife could put him and his beloved daughter at risk. She couldn't let that happen. She wouldn't let that happen. Ever. Not as long as she lived. Angie was sensible, though. She waited until Violetta and Priscila had gone to bed. She didn't want to risk this being heard by the wrong ears. Her niece's heart wasn't about to be broken again.

German was adequately concerned. He would be a lot more concerned when he realised this had something to do with his wife. German defended her to the hilt but this time he wouldn't. Angie was determined to make him see her side, whether he liked it or not. He had to see how she would end up effecting not just him, but the whole family. Surely he couldn't turn away advice with the better interests of his family at heart? Angie knew that family was his number one priority. He didn't show it as well as he could sometimes, and he didn't show affection too well on times either. She wasn't worried though. When it counted, he could express his feelings perfectly well.

The kettle had just boiled. His cup of coffee and her cup of tea had just been made. German was making his way to the sofa. Angie's words were ready. Her argument was there inside her head. Nothing would stop this.

He placed his hand on her knee to assure her that he was there, that he was listening. His full, undivided attention was on her.

It always had been.

Time for her to speak now. He would solve her problem. They would be happy - um, she would be happy. She always was. She will be after this talk. He was sure of it.

Angie cut right to the chase. "It's about your wife." She expected him to fill with dread or concern. Instead his face was flat, like he wasn't even listening. Typical. She got up. She shouldn't have bothered. He wasn't going to pay any attention anyway.

What was she insinuating now? That Priscila was causing some kind of trouble? How long was she going to keep this up for? German was tired of these constant accusations of his wife. He rose to meet her, "What did she do now?" He said in a plain tone, trying to sound like he cared about her position.

She stood there shocked. 'What did she do now?'. THAT was his response? Doesn't he care? Doesn't he know what she's starting to do, what she will do to this family and this house if she is here for much longer? She can't be here, she's not welcome! At least, Angie doesn't welcome her!

"You take that back. Better yet, you leave."

"No, I'll go. Now. I'll pack my bags now. I'm trying to tell you something, trying to help you. But all you do is claim to love her and say that she isn't capable of doing anything wrong. I'm sorry, Mr Castillo, but you are the one who is wrong. She will con you like Esmeralda and steal your money like Jade. She is not a good person."

At breakfast the next morning, Angie was gone before any of them got to the table. German asked Violetta to see if her belongings were still in her room.

This time, she might have gone.
