Angie was nervous. What was German going to say? He didn't seem to take the news well from his soon to be wife. How was he going to take it from his sister-in-law-who-had-feelings-for-him-doesn't-even-know-and-lives-in-the-same-house? Obviously that was a long title for Angie, but that's what she was to him! A relation whose feelings he'd forgotten about.

Suddenly a thought struck her. Priscila has already told him the news. She wouldn't have to! A small victory coursed through her. She would have to take on the brunt on German's wrath, though. Victory taken back. Angie slumped in her chair.

He called for his daughter first. She studied him carefully. His eyes were full of fear. Violetta wouldn't notice, her father was an expert at hiding his emotions, but he really cared about his daughter being safe. He was a good father in that respect. It was too bad that he didn't know how to express himself, well, on.... different levels.  He held her face in his hands and hugged her again.

Angie was happy seeing this, but her heart broke. Why?

She decided to go into the kitchen. Make herself a cup of tea. No one else seemed to be in the house at this moment. She was alone. That was good. She wouldn't have to explain how she was feeling to anyone.

Carefully she took a dainty cup out of the cupboard. The box with the tea bags was next to it so Angie decided to be a wizard. She held the cup with her pinky finger and opened the other cupboard's door with the other hand. Successfully she took hold of the contained granules and almost dropped them and the tea bag just as swiftly.

"Hello!" Olga popped up out of nowhere. She could be very stealthy sometimes. Like a kitchen ninja.

"Hi Olga!" Angie chuckled, bashful but somehow absentmindedly. She hoped she wouldn't come to talk.

"You need some help there?" There stood German with a wicked yet muted grin on his face. Bless him, he was trying his best not to laugh at her defeated attempt at indecently getting a hot beverage.

"No." She said, quickly putting everything back in its right place.

Olga snatched the tea bags, "Let me help with that." Angie couldn't refuse. This was her territory.

German led her back into the living room. They both stood in silence as if they had just met for the first time. It was as if they didn't know how to act around each other.

He sat on the couch and she followed suit. An hour and a half had passed before they had all come rushing in. He reached for Angie's hand. She took his. They were holding hands. Non romantically.

The silence between them was palpable. None of them had said anything. They'd only looked at each other.

Words came tumbling out of German's mouth.

Angie told him to forget those words.

German refused.

Angie looks at him and doesn't know what to say...

German leans towards her for a kiss...
