Olivia sat at the windowsill, her cardigan wrapped tightly around her body. "The snow's starting to pick up." She declared, her brown eyes watching the sticky flakes multiply in number. The wind outside was howling, making the flakes quickly blow past her.

Elliot walked to her side, leaning over her to see outside. "Wow. Looks like we're getting snowed in." He smiled. She looked up at him, seeing how bright his blue eyes looked against the piercing white snow. They looked like they were nearly glowing.

"So no work for us today?" She softly smiled as he took the seat across from her. He smiled back, resting his hands on his knees.

"No work for us." He nodded, his eyes meeting her brown ones.

"Good, because I think this snow would distract you all day." She chuckled, wrapping her cardigan tighter on her body. She was absolutely freezing sitting next to the window, but it was the best spot to view the storm.

Elliot laughed, his face brightening. "I'd be distracted? No, you would be distracted trying to make your snow angels and snowmen." He fired back.

"Come on, Stabler. We both know you would be too busy building a fort or making snowballs to throw at me." She laughed, tapping him with her foot. He grinned, tossing his head back.

"It's irresistible! I love watching the way you burrow your head in your coat, hoping that my snowballs don't hit your neck." He grinned, shrugging his shoulders up to mock her. She shook her head, waving him off.

"Whatever, El." Olivia laughed, shaking her head at him, though she knew he was right.

The storm continued to blow through the day. Elliot and Olivia had spent most of their time watching it and goofing around. It was nice to not have any worries or responsibilities for a day.

"Hey, Liv!" Elliot shouted. She hummed back in response. "What do you want to eat?" He asked as he opened the fridge. She jogged in, the thought of food swirling in her head.

"Ooo! What if we had-" Liv started as they were sent into darkness. Quickly, she clutched onto Elliot's arm, fear running through her veins.

"Ah. I've been wondering how long it would take for the power to end," Elliot stated, his eyes quickly adjusting to the lighting. "I'll go grab a few candles."

He walked off, leaving Olivia alone. She quickly held onto her sides, pacing around the room. She could hardly see and it was getting harder to breath. Was it suddenly getting warmer? Doesn't the heater turn off when there's a power outage?

She stopped in her tracks as she heard a crash from behind her. She quickly turned, raising her fists to throw a punch. Before she could think, a match was lit and the smell of pine trees filled the air as the match touched the candlewick. Elliot's face was dimly lit, looking her over.
