"Elliot, I don't think we should drag her into this." Cragen argued, shaking his head as he paced around the room.
"What do you mean? It's kinda hard to miss. I mean, the thing is literally laying on our front steps!" Elliot fired back, narrowing his eyebrows at his captain. He scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest. "It'd hurt her more if you try to keep this from her."
Cragen licked his lips and tossed the idea around in his head. All he could think about was all of the other times people died because of her. Did he really want her to find out about this? "You're right. She deserves to know," he agreed. "But you have to be with her when she finds out."
"Planned on it." Elliot nodded before exited the office. He quickly rushed to his desk, grabbing his jacket and badge. He did a quick check then ran to the interrogation room. He peered in the glass, making sure this was the right room.
"Your partner all ready gave you up. You might as well tell us your side." The detective said, tossing her dark locks over her shoulder.
"Whatever."
"Elliot. Got here just in time to see the deal breaker," Alex stated as he barged in. "Hey!" She called out, reaching for his shoulder to stop him from ruining their chance at getting the perp to spill.
"Liv, we need you," He breathed. Olivia narrowed her eyes at him, confused and angry with him all at the same time. "Now." He added.
Liv turned back to her perp, giving him one last glare. "When I come back, you better have made your decision," She spat as she rose from her chair. As soon as she shut the door before her, she lashed out at Elliot. "What the hell? I was just about to get him to spill!"
"Seriously, we've been working on him for the past four hours!" Alex joined in, glaring at Elliot too.
"Look, I hate that I had to do that, but this is important." He explained, his eyes showing a new emotion. He usually doesn't back down from a fight and isn't afraid to yell back. Something strange must have happened.
"What now?" Alex sighed, rolling her blue eyes.
"I can't explain it. It's downstairs." He replied, biting his lower lip.
"Alright. Let's go then." Olivia sighed, following him to the elevator. Olivia, Elliot, and Alex crowded together with other sets of people who all had their eyes on Olivia. What was happening?
When they got downstairs, they quickly took in the scene. CSU and other units were everywhere. The caution tape was put up, surrounding the front doors. "Elliot, what's happened?" Olivia asked.
Elliot kept his blue eyes forward, tightening his jaw as he went under the tape. Olivia followed suit, confused about what was happening and why Elliot was so silent. But once she stepped onto the scene, she froze.
