"Alright, I'll talk to you later. Bye." Elliot said into the phone. He let out a sigh, hanging it on the receiver. He folded his hands behind his head and leaned far back into his chair.

"Who was that?" Olivia asked, noticing his sudden change in mood. He was working hard on their latest case and now he seemed almost too tired to continue.

"Kathy. She wants to take the kids to see her mother so she called to see if she could keep them for the weekend." He explained. Kathy and him had spilt again around Eli's 3rd birthday. This time it was a prettier scene. They've stayed on mutual terms and even talk regularly.

"Isn't this the second time this month this has happened?" Olivia asked, slightly furrowing her eyebrows. She knew how much being in the kids' lives mattered to Elliot. She was surprised to see him just handing over his weekend so easily.

"Yeah, but Kathy's mom isn't doing well. They're not sure how much time she's got left." He said, sitting up again. "It just gets a little frustrating that I cleared my weekend and now I've got nothing to do."

"Well, I'm free." Olivia said with a gentle smirk.

"Really? I thought for sure you would have something planned with Alex." Elliot teased back, a smile now growing on his face. He leaned closer to her desk, almost across the row of pictures dividing them.

"Well, I don't always hang out with Alex. I've got to save some time for my man, right?" Olivia asked, almost closing the gap.

"I know it's after hours, but I didn't sign up to see you two suck each other's lips off." Fin said, glaring at them from his desk.

"They probably can't even hear you. They're too busy flirting to notice they're not alone." Munch piped in, glaring along with Fin.

Olivia blushed, backing away. "Sorry, guys. We'll try to keep it more professional." She stuttered, sitting taller in her chair and looking at her computer screen.

"Yeah. Try." Elliot winked.

"Liv, honey. You almost ready?" Elliot called up the stairs. He felt like he had been waiting for her for hours. He paced around in her house, wandering from room to room. He didn't know what was taking her so long.

"Yeah, yeah. Just finishing up." Olivia hollered back as she patted on some blush. She wasn't sure why she was so nervous tonight. Elliot and her had been dating for almost a year now. Not only that, they've been partners for over a decade. She knows more about him than anything else in the world.

She quickly came downstairs, putting in her last earring. "Sorry. I didn't mean to take so long." She sheepishly smiled, reaching the bottom.

"You look gorgeous." He said, kissing her forehead. "And it's all good. They won't give our table away. I just said that to rush you a little faster."
