Alice:
"Oh you have got to be kidding me." I angrily retort. Out of all the things I can help with, this is what they're going to make me do. My mom gives me a pointed look, telling me to stop my pouting and act my age.
"Alright, fine. I'll go to the rave and keep an eye on Allison's friends." I begrudgingly agree, it's not like I have much of a choice now anyway.
"Go get ready. It should start in an hour, and you need to stay until we are finished." My mother is quick to lay out the last of her instructions for me. I nod and leave to my room with my ego slightly damaged, but with an impassive expression on my face.
After a whole car ride of angrily muttering every curse word I can think of, I finally find an empty parking space by the warehouse. Never have I ever been the type of girl to like going to these types of things, but then again I never had the time do much anyway.
At the moment is seemed like a pain in the ass being raised like that, but in the end of it all I'm thankful for it. Especially since I get to live in situations where most people would get slaughtered. So ya, that's always a big plus.
The music is ear-deafening loud to the point where I can literally feel the ground shaking. My eyes wander around to get a good idea of my surroundings. God am I glad I never went out to raves, these things are just filled with sweaty, intoxicated people and bad music might I add. After a few more moments of scoping out the place I spot Scott, but strangely enough no Stiles.
I walk around the place, trying to be as nonchalant as possible as I search for more of the teens to do a head count. Each time I spot one of them I let the hunters here know who they don't have to worry about. However it also means that every time I spot one of the teens I have to quickly hide in order to not be spotted and raise any suspicion. Nope not that way either, I quickly turn in another direction again when I see Allison.
I find a spot to the side of the whole rave, alright I can see pretty much everything here and not to mention I can quickly find a hiding place if one of them starts walking in my direction. Unfortunately I notice a guy my age start to make his way over to me, this douche bag better not be thinking of talking to me.
Much to my dismay, and dirty looks, he walks over to me. "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" He unsuccessfully tries to flirt. I roll my eyes before giving him the sweetest smile I can muster up.
"No. But I broke a nail clawing my way up from hell." I reply in a sickly sweet voice, which only makes this guy that much closer to probably pissing his pants.
His eyes widen and the fear is completely evident on his face. He can't seem to rush away fast enough, successfully dropping his drink in the process of his great escape.
I smile in triumph, and wipe away a fake tear in triumph. Better go get a drink because I have a feeling that this is the most fun I'm going to have tonight. I head over to the drink table, but my phone starts to go off in my hand. Well this can't be good.
'Intercepted, go home now.'
Alright that most likely means a werewolf or two took down our back up. As much as I'm happy to be able to go home, I know my mom is going to be beyond royally pissed off that we didn't get the Kanima again. I text back a quick reply before making my way to the exit.
The thing is we can't be too detailed with what we say or text over the phone, so I've had to get really good at deciphering the texts I get. And let me say that they can be a pain sometimes. "What do we have here?" My voice comes out in a low whisper once I spot the familiar looking substance on the ground.
