Alice:
Since my car still hasn't been fixed I'm getting a ride from one of the other hunters. I swear they act like I can't handle myself after seeing a Kanima. Sighing in frustration and annoyance I open the car door. What I wasn't expecting was the other person already in the backseat.
Shit well no wonder I'm being driven to work.
It literally takes every fiber of my being not to frown because of what I know is coming. No matter how much I tried to believe that I wasn't going to get called out on what I did, well that's just too much to ask for.
"Hey gramps." I greet getting into the backseat and shutting the door behind me.
The driver pulls out of the driveway as gramps turns to face me. "When did you decide that the little idea of yours was a good one?" He asks irritation and anger evident in his voice.
I sigh through my nose. Well I knew this was coming when I made the choice to keep my mouth shut. "I just thought that--"
"You thought! No you shouldn't have been thinking but instead remembering that you are already walking on very thin ice." As much as I want to look away from his angry gaze, I won't.
The last thing I need is to break eye contact and make myself look scared or weak. You don't just go and do something like that when you've been a hunter for as long as I have.
"Now your going to listen to a proposition I have set up for you."
I mentally scoff, proposition my ass I'm going to have to do this whether I like it or not, so in other words I'm not going to like what I'm about to hear.
I shut the car door behind me without another single word before walking towards the Police Department. Jesus I know I screwed up, but what he's making me do might just end up getting me killed. Sighing for what feels like the hundred time today I pull open the door.
I walk inside and am instantly buzzed in. Immediately I head off to put my stuff away in the locker room. I shut my locker and place my forehead on the cool metal door. Well there's no use just moping around till the day I'll probably get my throat slit open.
After my two second pity party I walk up to the front office again. Turns out today I'm suppose to just stay up here. I wouldn't mind it, if I didn't have that stupid little 'deal' I was forced into still stuck in my head. A few minutes of boring work goes by before my head goes up from the computer screen as footsteps approach the desk.
"How may I help you." I smile at the guy around Allison's age. I get a certain tingle in the back of my head but keep the smile on my face. If I'm right then I may be able to get out of the trouble I'm in with this information.
"Uh ya." I see him look at my name tag with my last name on it and he stiffens.
"Don't be shy kid. I won't arrest you I promise." I joke reminding myself that I still need to look like the non-hunter Argent family member.
"I need to speak with the Sheriff." He quickly explains. Before reaching for the button to let him in I get an idea.
"I'm going to have to ask for your name. You know just for security reasons, but I doubt you'd cause any problems." I add with a smile.
"Oh its Jackson Whittmore." At his worss I push the button unlocking the door.
"Alright Jackson go on right ahead." He hurriedly walks over to the office like if his life depended on it. I tap my fingers on the desk and this time I can't help but actually grin. Looks like I know who the Kanima is.

I wanted to call gramps right away, but I decided it would be better if I waited till I could get away without causing any suspicion. So here I am during my lunch break walking through the forest texting him what I found out this morning. I had come up with the idea that texting would be safer because even out here in the forest you risk the chance of someone hearing you.
