Yugi's POV

I put everything that brought me happiness and clothes into a duffle bag and suitcase. I of course brought my Duel Monsters Cards and everything related to the game with me. I'd better tell grandpa. After I finished packing my stuff, I call Grandpa.

Ring, ring~

"Hmmmm? Yugi, my boy. What wrong? You don't usually call me when I'm away."

"Sorry. Grandpa?"

"Yes, my boy?"

"Grandpa! *sniff*....*sob*....."

"Yugi?! What's wrong?!"

"Grand....*sniff*...pa. Yami and the gang were just toying with me!! They weren't my friends at all!! They just...they just....*crying*...."

"How dare they hurt you?! They'll pay."

"It's....*sniff*....okay, Grandpa. Don't hurt them. It just makes things worse. I.....just want to forget about them."

"Very well." Grandpa sounded annoyed "So Yugi, do you want to come here?"

"....*sniff*...To Egypt?"

"Yes."

"What about the shop?"

"I'll take care of transferring everything over."

"You sure?"

"Yes. When would you like to leave?"

"Today."

"Today?"

"Today."

"Okay." Around ten minutes later, "....There are tickets for 10:00 pm tonight. Pack up quickly, my dear boy."

"I've already packed. I'll be at the airport on time."

"Haha. Okay, see you soon, Yugi."

"See you soon, Grandpa. Thank you."

"You're welcome."

I left a note to Yami, explaining that I'm gone and it's over because I heard the conversation in the park. Don't even know why I have to explain myself to them bastard, but oh well. With that, I called a taxi and headed to the airport. After paying the taxi driver, I bought my ticket and made it through the security. I rushed to the gate and got onto the plane in time. I sigh in relief as the plane takes off. While watching the place where nothing but sorrow it brought me disappear, I feel a sudden weight lift off my chest and doze into a peaceful sleep. I want someone...to look at me for who I am. Someone...who could understand me.

Yami's POV

The next day~

I stretch my arms out as I look to my side to see the love of my life, Anzu sleeping peacefully. I now wondered about Yugi. Ha, the innocent brat couldn't even begin to imagine the pain he will feel a month from now. The only reason I got together with Yugi was because he looked so innocent, that I wanted to break him. I wanted to see the despair and pain that would float in his eyes. The kid annoyed me a lot. I don't even know how I put up with him for six months. Don't ask me why I pick on kids like him. I just do it for fun. I find an almost sadistic enjoyment in watching people's hearts shatter into pieces. Oh well, I'd better get back before the brat notices something. Oh, shoot! That reminds me, I forgot to call him to give him an excuse for why I wasn't there. So troublesome~ I dial up Yugi's number to find that it goes straight to voicemail. That's strange. I try again and the same thing happens.

I have a bad feeling about this. I get out of bed and Anzu wakes up. I tell her the situation and she looks at me sadly before agreeing to let me see what our target is doing.

"Sorry, my love. One more month and we'll be together forever." I say. Anzu then gives me one of her brilliant smiles.

"Okay." We kiss one more time before we part.

I rush to Yugi's house to find it oddly dark. I cautiously go in and find it cold and empty. That's really weird. Then, I make my way to Yugi's room and am shocked to see it bare. I then notice a note on his desk.

Dear Yami,

I'm sorry for bothering you all these years. I— WHO ARE YOU KIDDING MOTHERFU****!!! If you're surprised by my language, don't be. BECAUSE I HEARD AND SAW EVERYTHING YOU SAID AND DID AT THE PARK YESTERDAY!!!! It doesn't matter anymore. It's over. We're over. I've gotten over you and moved away to a distant place. See ya! Have fun with Anzu!

"Damnit! I can't put my plan in action. At least I can be with Anzu a month earlier. *sigh* Oh well, time to look for a new target." I crush the note into a ball and leave the store. I call up the gang to tell them the news and they were all like 'good riddance'. I once again sigh and move on to forget my innocent lookalike.
