Breakfast finished and we left the place where we were eating, I followed my three friends, to a... Stadium? Yeah, it was a stadium. We went inside, and I found the floor to be made of tiles, so there's probably space underneath, and a button or switch somewhere where you can change what kind of game the stadium was for. Right now, it was for football, American. I followed them across the field, to some people sitting on the first three sections of the bleachers, chattering.
"Hi, guys!" Natsu said cheerily, catching their attention.
"We brought someone we want you guys to meet," Gray announced in his usual, bored way. Erza pushed me forward, and I gave a small wave, digging my heels into the dirt, trying to go against Erza's strength.
"This is Ana Rose. She's new." Erza announced, and I was met by a chorus of 'hi's. Erza sat me down in the first row, directly between some other people. All eyes were on me.
"Um, sorry I don't have much to say. I haven't had much human interaction for quite some time." I say awkwardly. A girl with long, blue hair was the first to speak.
"Juvia would like to know why." She said in third-person. Odd.
"I was in jail," I responded, and she nodded, on my other side, a girl with short blue hair asked a question.
"If you don't mind me asking, why were you in jail?" I fidgetted with my hands nervously, answering with a small voice.
"I, umm... Killed some people..." She nodded not really scared. No one looked scared. A man with long, black hair and lots of piercings sitting on the next level up commented.
"Wow, four killers in this group." I turned to look at him.
"Who's the third?" I asked, and he pointed at himself.
"Me." He said with a smirk. My face must've been lit up with happiness as I talked to him.
"How many?" I asked excitedly.
"45. You?"
"300+," I responded excitedly, his smirk grew larger.
"Really? I don't believe you."
"Who's the fourth?" He pointed to the girl with long blue hair.
"Her. We used to work together." I turned back to him. He started to taunt me. "I don't believe you can kill.
"I can."
"Prove it," I smirked maniacally and walked to the center of the field, and he soon followed. We stood at the 40 marks, Erza stood to the side of the center line.
"Okay, no real killing, maiming is okay. Keep it in the field, if anyone in the bleachers or outside get involved, you both lose. Last one standing wins." My face was blank, and his smirk grew even wider at the last comment. He obviously thinks it'll be easy, he only has to push me down, and just by looking at me, you can tell I don't weigh much.
Erza backed up to the bleachers, she gave a sharp whistle, and he rushed at me, acting like we were actually playing football. I stood there, unmoving until he was a foot from me. I jumped up, falling down fast, I pulled up one foot, pointing my heel down on the other. I landed on him with great force, the heel did some damage to his back.
He did a somersault, landing facing me, on his feet. I landed softly on the ground, and he charged again, I sidestepped and he stuck out an arm, grabbing me. He continued to run, me being carried along. The only thing keeping me there was the force of the wind from how fast he was running. I took evasive maneuvers and flipped over his arm, landing on a roll.
I ran from him, I could hear him following behind me. I came to the end of the field and climbed the metal pole. I went up to the flat part and crouched there. He, as I've seen, doesn't have much of a brain, and when he got there, looked around confusedly, thinking that I'd disappeared. He took it that I ran off, and held his hands up in the air triumphantly. I jumped silently, driving both my heels down. I landed on his back, and put my hands onto his head, pushing it down as I used him as a springboard. He face planted, and Erza came up to me. She held one of my arms in the air and announced.
"Ana Rose wins!!" He got up and trudged back to the bleachers in shame. I came up to him and held out my hand.
"Good game," I said, and he took my hand.
"Good game." He repeated.
"You know, I never caught your name." I pointed out.
"Gajeel Redfox." We then talked about our killings, how we did it. We both avoided the question as to why we did it. We became close friends, and he gave me a nickname. Tiger Girl. Because the only other thing to take him down, that's not Erza, was a tiger. I loved tigers, so I didn't complain. We chattered for a while on the bleachers, when Erza suddenly approached us.
"I completely forgot! We need to introduce you to the others!" She grabbed my hand, pulling me back to the group, Gajeel followed closely behind.
"Levy McGarden." She introduced, gesturing to the girl with short, blue hair. We went to the other girl with blue hair.
"Juvia is Juvia Lockser." Erza dragged me to another blue-haired person, but this one was male and had a red tattoo around one eye.
"Jellal Fernandez."
"Erza has a crush on him," Gajeel whispered in my ear, and I turned to face him.
"Really?" He nodded, looking smug at the smirk that spread across my face.
"Who else?"
"I'll tell you later." He said before walking off to talk to Levy. He said something and her face lit up with happiness and excitement.
