Stolen Bets

Levy came back and quickly set up a playpen, Gajeel put Anastasia in and helped Levy unpack.   Soon enough, they had all sort of baby supplies set up around the dorm room, and it was baby-proofed.   Anastasia was fast asleep, and Gajeel and Levy fell asleep too, in separate rooms, of course.   

Several times that night Anastasia woke them up, and Levy was appointed Official Diaper Changer, apparently not even clothespins can stop the smell from getting to Gajeel.   Taking care of a baby was not as easy as they had thought.   They barely got any sleep, and Gajeel attempted to seal Anastasia's mouth shut with a plate of iron.   Levy was un-amused.   

The next day, everyone came over, to find the pair looking like shit while Anastasia giggled, clapping as a CD played nursery rhymes.

"So, how's parenting?"   Gray asked, smirking as he looked Gajeel up and down.

"You look like trampled shit!"   Natsu laughed, causing Gajeel to shove Anastasia into his arms.

"There.   You take care of her."   Levy snatched Ana back.

"Gajeel!   We made a promise to her!"   She scolded, allowing Ana to play with her fingers.

"What?   She probably won't even remember this."

"See?!   Probably!   What if she does?!"

"You worry too much.   She'll be fine."

"Baka!"   Levy stormed off, everyone watched as if it were some TV show, Natsu snickered.

"Whasso funny, Flame-Brain?!"

"You two fight like a married couple..!"   Gajeel smacked Natsu over the head.

"We're not married!!"

"But you act like it!"   Natsu laughed.   Gajeel knocked him out with a single punch.

"Juvia thinks that Gajeel does like Levy."   Gajeel looked away and muttered something.   But it seems that he didn't say it quiet enough.

"Wait.   You're dating Levy?!"   Erza exclaimed.

"Erza owes Juvia 500j."

"Yeah, and she owes me 100j."   Gray followed.

"You guys were betting on us?!"

"Yeah.   We have bets on all of Mira's ships."   Erza said as if it were obvious.   Levy came back out of Anastasia's room with empty hands moments later.

"I take it by all the yelling Gajeel told you."   She said calmly.

"Yes.   Gajeel-Kun told us."   Juvia responded.

"Okay, then.   She's out, we should have a half-hour of silence or so.   Anyone want tea?"   They sat down, and Levy made lunch with tea.   As they sat around, a gas leaked in through the window.   Natsu, Wendy, and Gajeel were the first to notice with their keen sense of smell.

"Don't breathe in the air!   There's some sort of magic gas in it!"   Natsu shouted, and everyone covered their nose and mouths, but they needed air and ended up breathing it in.   Why didn't they use magic?   I have no clue, maybe they were surprised.   In any case, a figure slipped in the window, wearing a gas mask, and stole Anastasia away.
