MAYs POV
"I thought you said I was coming with you on tour. " I slouch against the wall, overcome by how unfair my dad is being.
"You are. Just not this week. It's one week without jack and I. Aaron, Carter, Shawn and Taylor will still be here so it's not like we're leaving you home alone for a week." He explains walking out of my room. I assume he expects me to follow and I do.
Once we're on the main floor, I can see everyone gathered around the door with their suitcases. Dad turns to me and kisses my forehead lightly.
"I love you. Be good. Don't throw a party. We'll see you in a week." He walks out the door with the rest of the guys following him and muttering their goodbyes on their way. Nash stops right inside the door and turns to face me. He looks between shawn and I, smirks, winks, then closes the door. Perv.
The rest of the night slowly creeps forward and it feels like it takes an eternity before it's an acceptable hour to go to sleep. Aaron and I sit down for dinner and I notice we don't have that much in common.
"Hey how is it that I've lived here for almost a year and we've barely talked?" I ask him as I'm rinsing out the extra salad dressing from my bowl.
At first no one answers then someone says from the doorway "I sure hope we've talked. I mean that would be kinda bad." I jerk my head up to see Shawn standing in the doorway and Aaron no where in sight.
"Where's Aaron?" I ask and glance at his half eaten salad still out on the table.
"In his room. I passed him on my way down." Shawn references the stairs behind him.
"Sneaky little dude." I load my bowl in the dishwasher and just when I'm about to go get Aaron's bowl, two arms trap me in place.
Shawn shuffles closer with his arms resting on the counter on either side of me, making my unable to move. I smirk as he leans in and connects our lips at last.
Every time I kiss him it's like the first time. Sparks shoot up my body at every point of impact and I can't help but pull him in closer. I loop my arms up around his neck and twirl my fingers in his little hair at the nape of his neck and he pushed himself closer and closer until I can't tell where one of us stops and the other begins.
"Umm can you guys not do that in here? I come in here to eat." I pull back and shawn stays pressed up against me to a point where I can feel everything. Everything.
Aaron is sitting at the table again eating his salad and staring at us when Carter walks in the room.
"Yeah guys were trying to eat dinner." Carter sits down and gets himself a bowl of salad.
"In a way, So am I." Shawn leans down and attaches his lips to the side of my neck and begins to kiss and suck like a leach who's been deprived of blood for too long. At first it feels good and then I process what he said.
"Shawn!" I push him away and swat at him with a dirty dish towel before throwing it down on the counter and running up to my room.
The next two days and nights are a breeze. It rained the whole time so the guys and I spent most of our time inside having a star wars marathon.
Once or twice carter would scream for no reason making us all jump from fright. He got Taylor so bad that he threw his popcorn all over the room. Which of course meant we had a lot of cleaning to do before we could leave for our tour Saturday morning.
Wednesday morning, I sat down at the counter to have a nice bowl of cereal and play on my phone. While scrolling through Instagram, I come across multiple pictures of my dad surrounded by his fans and I'm instantly jealous.
