When I woke up, Harry's presence beside me was missing and the window was open. I sleepily smile and go to the washroom to freshen up.

Today is weekend, Megan will be coming to make me practice. This time I will be going to learning some major spells. Even though I won't be able to memorise them, but getting a practice will be better than nothing.

I go to the kitchen and wait for my mother, knowing her, she will try her best to avoid me. Today, I will get out the answer of my unsolved questions from her. The whole time I have been waiting for her, but she never came. So, I went to her room to check out, she wasn't there either. I sigh in defeat and call Meghan.

"Yo best friend!" She screamed, and I had to pull away the phone from my ears, I could still hear her even though it's away from my ear.

"Ah geez, what the heck is up with you this early in the morning?" I said while I yawned, still sleepy.

"You kidding me right? Did you even look at the time? It's afternoon!" She said and I immediately look at the clock,

"What the heck? For how long did I sleep for!?" I ask myself, forgetting that Meghan is still on the line,

"Uh- a lot?" She answered and I rolled my eyes.

"Anyways, come home. I am bored." I said casually,

"Sure thing princess, you going to pay me or what?" She sarcastically said,

"I am poor as heck, can't even afford clothes." I sadly said,

"Yeah, spent on the other clothes in your closet. It's filled with clothes, what the f*** are you even talking about!?" She exaggeratedly asks,

"Oh shush and come over. Mum is not home." I said,

"Wait, wasn't she supposed to be at home? I thought she gets a free day from work." She stated, her voice lacing with confusion.

"I will tell you what happened and come fast." I said, then sighed and then cut the call before she answers because I well know that she will start another topic and we will go on for hours and she will end up staying home and never come here.

After waiting for an hour, the doorbell rings continuously. I rush towards the entrance and open the door and glare at my best friend, while she sheepishly smiles and then starts hitting me.

"What the- why are you hitting me!?" I ask her while she hits me,

"Oh pfft, as if I am the one who hung up on her best friend in the middle of a conversation!" she sarcastically stated, while still hitting me,

"Ow! Ow! If I didn't, then you wouldn't have come here and kept on talking and talking! It's not my fault that I am smart at this kind of thing." I stated and she stopped hitting me and sheepishly grins at me. I glare at her and shake my head in amusement.

"Let's go, get your ass ready to do some spells!" she shouted and her voice echoed throughout the whole empty house.

Once we settled in the living room, she looks at me and I nod at her, really ready to smash this thing.

"Okay so, you will be learning the teleportation spell today." She slowly said, and my eyes light up in excitement.

"Finally!" I said and sighed in happiness.

"Woah girl, don't be too excited for this spell, its way harder than you think." She said and I look at her, my mouth making the "O" shape, in realisation.

"Oh..." I said, not knowing what to say any more.

"C'mon, if you practice then it will be easy for you." She said, and we started.

The transportation spell is indeed difficult. Its long and gibberish, well, all of the spells are gibberish but this one is way harder than the other ones I have learned so far.

"So you have to think about a place you want to go, or a person you want to be with, the image in your mind must be clear enough for the spell to work." Meg explained and I nodded,

"And when you do, a door-like portal will appear and it will only stay for 10 seconds, actually, it depends on how long you can hold it." She explained and I nodded,

"So I will show you an example." She said, and I nodded while looking at her carefully. Her eyebrows squint in concentration and her posture more focused and confident, then suddenly a huge door-like portal appeared right in front of her and she smiles in success, she indicates me to get in and I did, she followed me.

"Huff!" she breathed heavily in exhaustion.

I look around and we are in front of the school building. I then look at her giving her a, 'you are pathetic' look.

"What?" she asked,

"You didn't find any other place to transport to?" I said, and she rolls her eyes.

"Now, take us back home. Remember, you have to say the spell right in the mind while picturing a clear image of the house." She said and I nodded, while my eyes closes, in concentration. I try so hard to get a clear image of the house while reading the spell inside my head. For a brief moment the image of house came and when I open my eyes, in front of me is the door-like portal. I look at Meg with happiness and I get inside first, but when I look back, I couldn't hold the portal for long and it closed before Meg could even step in. I sigh in defeat and then wait for Meg to come back, but she never did. I look inside my pockets for my phone, after not finding it I sigh again at how careless I am and I turn around to find my phone.

I gasp in surprise when I notice that I am not in my house, but a forest? How could I not notice!? Why did I even come here in the first place? I was clearly thinking about my house. I then try to open up a portal again, but it just won't appear, not even a tiny bit of it! I sigh out of exhaustion and frustration then I decided to look around and see what exactly brought me to this place.

I look around the lonely woods, the only sound coming is from my footsteps as I take a step on the dried leaves and fallen twigs on the ground. I then suddenly hear distant, soft voice, echoing throughout the whole woods. I walk towards the voice cautiously. The voice leads me to a graveyard-like place but with no graves. I look around in confusion and fear starts to build up inside me. I stopped, when a figure came at sight, I hid behind a huge tree, with no life.

"She is close to know the truth." The voice of the lady said,

"I hope, it doesn't break her. Emily has grown up, into a very good girl. If only you three were here to see it yourself." The lady said, and I gasp in shock and hurt.

"Mom?" I whisper, as I stood behind her from a distance.
