Bella's point of view

We stand under the dark clouds and pouring sky in front of the coffin of our late King. Unlike others, we hold no umbrella and are soaked from head to toe. I couldn't even shed tears for this man because all my tears has been spent in the past few years. I don't even glance at my husband, Daniel, to see if he's crying or not. Our relationship has not been easy after Amanda disappeared on us. The stress of it all tore us apart. Anna and Emily are both clinging to me, none of them going to their father for comfort.

After the funeral, we just stick around to exchange words with the royal family. I and the girls stand in front of Harry, who will now be the King of this burdensome country. He looks at me with no emotions at all, I smile at him, thinking back to when he was just a kid. Anna then suddenly and quickly hands him the uncompleted handkerchief with a smile. Harry reacts to none and just coldly stares at me making my heart feel at unease.

Few weeks has passed after the funeral and it is now harshly pouring outside. I worry about Emily who has gone out to the market hours ago and still hasn't come back. I hear the door slam shut and I immediately go to check if it's Emily, but to my disappointment it's Daniel looking frantic. I turn back and was about to go back to what I was doing when he suddenly yanked me by my arm.

"Daniel!? What in the wor-!" I stopped midway when I see him sobbing in fear and sadness.

"W-we have to go." He said, mumbling and then drags Anna out of her room.

"Daniel wait!" I said, as I tried to stop him from going crazy but instead he just holds my arm and drags the both of us outside.

Apparently, we are running deep into the woods right now. The heavy fog blurring our sights and confusing our sense of direction. Anna, who is still being dragged by Daniel sobs quietly while I try to get my arm out of his grip.

"Daniel!" I scream, making Daniel stop and look at me with wide eyes. He looks around the lonely and dark woods then turns his eyes to me.

"What. Is. Going. On?" I ask him slowly, while I cup his face to make him look at me into my eyes.

"Th-they are c-coming to k-k-kill us." He said, those words barely made out of his mouth. My hands drop and I look at him in shock.

"Wh-what do you mean!?" I shriek out, not understanding what he's saying.

"Prin- no, King Harry is out to kill us." Daniel explains and as if suddenly a strong gust of wind hit my body I drop on the muddy and sticky ground.

"He thinks- no, he believes that we are the one who killed the king, scheming the poisoning of the late King with Amanda and one of his companion." Daniel then explained further when I kept quiet.

"I- I don't know why he thinks like that! I mean- I mean, Amanda is dead!" Daniel freaked out while I look at him with a glare.

"How could you!? We haven't seen her dead body! How could you declare your own sister is dead!?" I shout back at him, while tears rapidly falls down my cheeks.

"She has to be dead!" Daniel spoke in a trance, as if trying to convince himself that she is dead. We immediately look at the direction we heard the crunching sounds from. We already know that it's not a stranger by the sound of the several footsteps. Before we could even react two big men stood in front us. Around us were Harry and his close companions.

"Bella, run when I tell you to." Daniel whispered into my ears while I hold Anna's wrist. Daniel slowly gets away from us while the men's eyes were set on him. He then stopped and looked back at us, I look at him with wide eyes when he smiles at us with such a sad look in his eyes.

"W- Wait, Dan-" I wanted to stop him but before I could complete he cuts me off.

"Bella! Run!" He screams, I had no choice but to follow his command and I immediately take off with Anna behind me.

We run as fast as we could, everything around us blurred but I suddenly fall on the ground. I could feel pain and my breathing hard and rigid. I couldn't understand what was happening while Anna is right beside me holding my weak hand and sobbing out loudly.

I wonder, what happened to Emily who hasn't yet returned from the market. I hope at least she has gotten away from this burdensome country and is safe. I start sobbing out loud when I realised what Daniel's sad eyes and smile meant.

'I love you.'

"I love you too, Daniel. I love you too!" I screamed and immediately I started sobbing furiously with deep guilt flowing out of my eyes. I scream and sobbed with Anna, who is still beside me holding my hand.

I know it's too late to say this but,

"I love you." I whisper my last words before I take my last breath.
