You had me at "hello"
A smile bright and shining
Your body a presence
Sure and confident
Words like waves
Sweeping a tide of heat
Flushing across my cheeks
My eyes dropping
From twin skies of yours
Unexpected
But not unwelcome
Awkwardness unfamiliar
Flattered and flustered
But I draw a facade
Calm lines outlining
Politely
Friendly
Holding my gaze
From searching out yours
Once too often
It isn't new
To feel my heart flutter
But you're the only one
To have me at "hello"
