The stars turned and I spun... And fell the dark earth
I see the twinkles high up there when I peek out my bedroom curtains,
they glitter through a thousand years just for our eyes.
and that little light might even be gone before we are born
so many lives look up
some not at all as they hurry on
but even they feel it
feel the glitter inside them
the twinkle in their eyes
The light in their minds
for I know I feel like an anchor being reeled up from the ocean depths
when I look at the stars
they pull at the part of us that glitters
twinkles,
shines
of stardust
for if they weren't
we weren't
and could never have been
